I agree. Mayle was known as Little Lebron when he played basketball. His playing weight was 240 which he trimmed to 225 to play WR. This kid has an amazing athletic ceiling.

Maybe instead of losing weight to become a WR he should have gained about 10 pounds to become a TE. Sort of like Gates or Jimmy Graham.

Maybe the cowboys will try to convert him to TE.

He is a really big, strong WR.
Dallas has had luck with those types of players.

He should be a monster in the blocking aspect day 1 and catching the football is a repetition thing.

Good development receiver, has the physical down now just needs the coaching, people I think are tripping that he drops balls but there is a reason why is the PS. Big strong receiver with a red shirt year with this core is just awesome and he can return kicks.

One of those turdsacks from Rotoworld wrote that comment

He was a 4th rounder receiver that couldn't make the 53 for the worst team in the NFL for receiving talent. Let's just say my expectations are tempered.

Can he be better than Street?

What's everybody got against Devin Street? The guy plays all three positions, blocks well, and has good hands. His only issue is the lack of separation, but he's a good all-around player for a WR4/5. Is it just because Broaddus doesn't like the guy? I don't get it.

Didn't we release a fourth round pick receiver the same year we picked up Bease? I forgot the name but not uncommon.

Yeah. Danny Coale (5th Rd) was a pretty talented guy, actually.
But the guy broke a toe, then when he came back wrecked his ACL.
Terrible luck. This is a guy who didn't have a horrible history of injuries but had a strong of them in the pros.

as they should be. But point is Dallas is getting a look at player with high physical traits who maybe can learn from Dez who also initially struggled with running route early in his career. Twill also doesn't have great hands but he seems to be hand full for DB. He just sounds raw. Surprised Cleveland wouldn't just red shirt him for year.

The chorus of people with "Street maybe in trouble" and "the next cut will be Swaim" , I think are gonna be waiting a while.

I guess I'm a little underwhelmed with Street's progress. He has the physical tools. I'm looking for him to take the next step.

That's fair. He was hobbled a good bit during camp this year with that ankle. He didn't show much, but I think that's most of the explanation why.

Would be a big WR or a small TE. Either way, he needs to work with jugs machine and learn how to run proper routes.
