Rats, I was really pulling for Brian Westbrook to get on the cover. We don't even play the Titans this year. The Madden curse is a stone cold lock, and this from a guy who isn't very superstitious. Well maybe on game day.

I think its Maddens way of breaking the curse. If you get a really young player, then maybe he wont get injured, and have a good career. Most of the players he picks, are in the middle of the career, or right on that "slide" years, and so when they get hurt, they just cant come back
