Me too, Broseph.LOVED #9.
Yeah he did. To his defense Escobar ran a ****** route and his foot was stepped on as he threw.I love Romo...but didn't he throw the game ending interception in that contest?
Romo’s plant foot was interfered with but don’t see how Escobar ran a bad route. Had Romo been able to plant his foot it would have been an easy completion. As is, the defender still had to dive to intercept it. It was just a great defensive play. It happens. Well, rarely does it happen for us, but it does happen.Yeah he did. Escobar was supposed to square his route off and shield the LB behind him. Instead of squaring it off, he drifted back and gave the LB space to make a play on the ball. If he runs parallel to the line he has to go through him to make that play.Romo’s plant foot was interfered with but don’t see how Escobar ran a bad route. His cut on the route was not sharp allowing the defender to cross in front of him. It was a good play by the defender though.Romo’s plant foot was interfered with but don’t see how Escobar ran a bad route. Had Romo been able to plant his foot it would have been an easy completion. Then if that is the case the ball was forced and was a bad decision. Should have checked down to Murray who was open then. I just thought it was great defense. But ball would have been broken up and looking at 3rd and 16 instead of picking up yards with MurrayHis cut on the route was not sharp allowing the defender to cross in front of him.
