Voch breaks down Dak's performance vs Detroit Lions

Saying things like Dak is garbage, can't throw, backups are better, can't read defenses, can't go through progressions etc are all false.... So yes people will call them out.

As far as attacking, it's toxic both ways, let's just be honest about it.

Agreed.

I don't know how someone can make posts like this and expect any credibility around here.

Please explain to the forum how in his last 2 healthy seasons (2019, 2021), Dak threw for about 9,450 yards, 67 TDs, 21 INTs, at a 66% completion rate with the entire NFL apparently knowing he can't read a defense and just stares down his WRs.

Because the tape shows it right there that he can’t read a defense and stares down his WRs

How often does AC, or any of the Dak fans for the matter, point out team accomplishments? Never? Its always "Dak did this" or has this stat. I would rather hear about how good the defense is playing over an average QB who didn't do any better than Rush against the worst defense in the NFL
So homers aren’t fair but haters are……..what?

You clearly giving this guy Voch too much credit, in the sense of me doing all this extra work. How about you call in and tell him to come to this thread and debate me about what I stated here?

makes sense that you ain’t gonna call in. You can lie to these clueless zone members who can’t wait to foam at the mouth over your Dak hate but a real football mind like voch would tear your elementary analysis up and show you how much you really don’t know about football

If skip bayless can be used as a "Credible source" then this guy is a genius.

How do you know that they appeared “to play harder” wasn’t because the mediocre QB was making it look that way?
If you let them hang around into the fourth quarter, of course they are going to "play harder". What happened to the Lions in the fourth quarter should've happened in the THIRD quarter, meaning that the offense has to find a way to put up more points in the first half, which forces teams out of the run-to-avoid-the-Dallas-pass and pass rush defense. Bad teams should be done away with quickly, else you have a situation like what you saw last Sunday.

Again...I will give Prescott some time, but on the other side of the bye it's going to be time to make some money.

The Eagles just acquired Robert Quinn, so that rematch on Christmas Eve (a MUST WIN imo) looms even larger. Moreover, Dallas may end up having to play them twice before it's all over. The offense has to get rolling...or else.

I'm curious if the Dak Hater crowds watch any other teams. I have my issues with Dak but I don't complain a whole lot because I see other QBs making mistakes as well and the reasons behind them. That's why I like watching QB confidential, because Kurt warner doesn't try to cover up bad play. He talks about what they do well and areas where they can improve and also the reason certain plays don't work. Which isn't always the QB.

  • Dak can't throw into tight windows
  • Dak can't read defenses
  • Dak carelessly throws into triple coverage
  • Dak has a weak arm
  • Dak gets scared when pressured
  • Dak can't read through his progressions
  • Dak is not a good/smart passer
  • Dak is a bus driver
  • Dak can't finish
  • Etc, etc, etc...
We've heard it all...all kinds of criticisms against Dak, especially recently. Well, Mr. Voch Lombardi is here to analyze Dak's tape against the Detroit Lions and prove Dak's critics wrong. The film doesn't lie.

Enjoy...;)

These clowns dont even know what triple coverage looks like.

I doesn’t take a genius to see Dak staring down his WR.

You started this thread knowing darn well you intended to stir up discontent, and then you lash out at the first person who points out the flaws. So typical.....

Your hero will never win the big one, so keep pounding you chest over the meaningless stats. That's all you will ever have.

you've got an odd definition of "lash". wonder if you have other misguided views. hmmm

bro it’s sad how many of these fans are proud of the fact that they only watch the cowboys. Not realizing how ignorant that makes their opinions. They just watch highlights of other qbs

It was pretty evident/obvious. What does the qb have to do with how hard the defenders are hitting? Okudah looked like a man possessed out there

The ONLY throw I’ll give Dak is 9 minutes in, though it pretty much looked to me like luck, as Dak clearly doesn’t even look at the MLB and throws based off the blitz by the Will LB on the play action to that side.

Man was going there from the beginning, though the LB had tight coverage.

I gotta give it to you. You give actual explanations with your criticisms and I admire that you're actually watching the entire video. You've definitely changed my perception on certain things, or at least helped me look at things more critically

Just watched the first two plays and as usual, Mr. “Scan the Field” Dak is staring at his WRs the whole time.

At 3:40, Voch just saying it’s the “safety gaining ground quick” when all it is is Dak staring down his WR the whole time, making it very easy for the safety to know exactly where the “stare down” QB is going..

Yeah that was just a bad decision on that throw. The safety only had one person to worry about in that route tree and Dak never took his eyes off that receiver.

On the throw to Ceedee however that almost got picked, I kinda blame that one on Gallop. I don't know if it is his options to keep his route deeper but as soon as he broke short the safety turned because he knew he had no responsibility there therefore creating an issue for which I think was a pretty good read by Dak.
