Voch breaks down Dak's performance vs Detroit Lions

That's not the point. It's not my opinion that's being held up as evidence.

Neither you nor I have anything in our backgrounds to suggest our opinions should carry more weight than any other fan.

Voch is being held up here as some sort of expert to which we should listen to and learn from.

I'll ask again....
What is on Voch's resume that suggests his opinion is more valuable and/or knowledgeable than yours or mine?
But I have seen some Dak detractors point to each other's opinions as a way to support their own opinions. At time circular reference.

But can't deny the fact at least he spent time dissecting video and break down specifics and you can watch and form a better opinion as opposed to watch game live while we all have a few drinks and making our opinions right there and then instantly

Leeblair is reasonable and doesn’t make outlandish statements some other just go nuts to make a point
He makes zero statements. He does a wave of a hand. His posts are good for national enquirer or TMZ. There is absolutely zero substance in anything those two say.

Ask him specifics and he has zero response. Ask him the reasoning behind his opinions and he has none.

Those two are furthest away from anything football related than anyone can get. They just care about the bullshiet part of it

2:45 - Dak deep slant to Gallup - Incomplete, behind the receiver - BAD
3:40 - Dak deep GO to Brown - Incomplete, throws to double coverage against Cover 1, 88 was open underneath the curl/comeback - BAD
5:10 - Dak deep GO to CD - Incomplete, throws to Tampa 2 Triple Coverage deep middle, 85 was open underneath for 7-10 yards - BAD

Improved Lions defense? Interesting how some said Dak was going to destroy the pathetic Lions defense and even Dak said he was going to elevate the Dallas offense....but now suddenly the Lions defense played great and Dak had rust? LOL I love the back peddling.
Not great. He missed the first play of the game that Romo couldn’t let go for 5 minutes because it was 6. Was a 10 yard pass that you could have thrown. Yeah yeah he was rolling to the left but you practice that. I was speaking in general the commentators were commenting that they were playing better on defense. They stuffed some 3rd and shorts because Moore called sweep. Lol. How many times have we begged Moore to call outside runs. Always up the gut on 2nd and 11’s. When he needed to call up the gut or QB sneak for 1 yard he calls the outside. But they were able a few times to string it out.

If Dak don’t get better than Sunday then I will be the first to call him out.

6 points??? WTH? Brown would have run out of bounds as he had no space to run upfield from where he was when he first touched Dak's pass. The DB covering him was right behind him, plus a Safety was over the top just 10 yards away to make sure Noah would have gotten tackled.

You keep saying such nonsense over and over, but that is not true at all. Where are you getting that Noah would have gotten a TD on that first pass play???

It's gotten that bad that you Dak haters have to lie about what actually happened on the field (and is shown on tape) just so you can continue to criticize Dak? What are you trying to accomplish by doing so? Everyone can see Noah had no chance to score a TD if Dak had hit him between the numbers on that play. Simply not possible.

I will keep saying the nonsense if I want to. Nana nana boo boo.

You maybe right. Romo kept talking about hitting him in stride and could have been 6 or at least FG range. That’s what I went with. Of course we won’t know because it’s not even close. Very disappointing play.

How does that response tell us the Lions played harder than the other games?

I mean we probably should have played Rush against these Lions.
We don’t know if Rush would have done any better. If Moore had him forcing it down field then he may have thrown 3 more picks. It’s all a opinion. Of Dak don’t get better this week and especially after the bye then many of his fans will be calling for Rush. I think Dak had a bigger upside..

I was glad to see Dak back but once again this offense stalled out too often, we continue to not convert 3rd downs and is something this offense has to improve on. I get that there was some rust but I expect better from Dak and this offense in general. I felt they played better in the 2nd half but if this team expect to be there in the end Dallas needs this offense producing much better than they have.
Some of it was play calling. Listened to someone saying MM finally went over when we had the ball on the goal line and told him to run the F ball. He runs a toss or pitch or outside run on 3rd and 1 more than once I think and got stuffed. First half play calls looked strange. Second half looked better.

And just to point out. Detroit plays the most man coverage of any team in the league. On the Noah Brown fumble, just another basic throw that any QB can make.

Again, simple post pattern on the first read that Dak is going to the whole time.

Not sure how this is impressive, as it’s basically Moore getting exactly what he wanted.
One good pass out of 19.

What makes him different than you or I when it comes to analyzing what we see?

How about he actually explains what his view is, in detail, with tape rather than just being critical without substance.

This video also draws similar conclusions as the other film review by The Football Scout.

You can disagree, but show your work if you want to be taken seriously.

Could be, I would be guessing on that. I do agree that Cowboys tried to get outside on a 3rd and 1 with Pollard, I disagreed with the call.

Did it with Elliot also and didn’t work. Moore won’t call it often but why on 3rd and short.

It was definitely not 6 lol. It may have led to 6 but given the next 5 offensive plays its hard to really even argue that.
But it was an easy throw that looked worse when you saw reverse angle. Brown really got up there to get two hands on it.
But it was the first play of the game on the move and tossed 5 yards too high.
Wasteful but not that big of a deal.

The deep throw to Lamb was perfectly placed which is all that saved it from being picked. It hit CeeDee in stride in the body.
Any less speed on it or any worse location and it definitely gets picked.
It was pretty greedy but Dak made like 5 of those tight window throws count Sunday.

The only real difference of opinion I had to Voch was the deep shot to Noah Brown that ended up being called triple-teamed.
Voch rightly noted it wasn't really triple-teamed at all but just a good job of Detroit getting back to the ball.
But he also called it overthown which I disagree with.
Brown stopped down when he met the safety but had he kept going all out for the ball he probably draws a PI there as he did on the other play.

The other thing I would highlight is where Dak is when he throws those balls. Those were 40 plus air yards and hitting guys in stride.
We take that for granted but it is a rare skillset.

It was meant to hit first available gap not go to sideline but gaps were filled (Schultz got blown up) so it kept flowing outside. TP trusted his speed more than his power by turning it up earlier.

Staring them down all the way, which is why he doesn't bother hitting the open WR.

Facts are, Dak is staring down his reads. He basically chucks balls into coverage because he's horrible at reading defenses. He processes like a sloth.

Once again, the tape the Dak-stans bring as some sort of proof actually show what the Dak-stans deny. Whether other QBs happened to 'stare down' WRs has no bearing here on the fact the reason Dak is throwing into double or triple coverage with "tight spirals" is because he is staring down his WRs, meaning it's his fault.

I would argue the fact that he actually does the film study and uses actual video footage to support his opinion makes his opinion more valid than mine.

Some of those guys like @leeblair and @PAPPYDOG would rather see cowboys lose with Dak than us winn ok ng so they can troll and say I told you so. Their opinions are more important than cowboys success.

Oh i definitely agree with you 100%. Its actually more than these too, but I don't count the second person you've named. That lil guy is actually an Eagles fan, so I expect him to hate.
