Who cares what other teams do, you were one of the guys who predicted W's against Atlanta and NO, now all of a sudden you use the injuries as an excuse when they lose. Don't get me wrong, I believe that the injuries are a valid excuse but don't use them as an excuse when you predict W's.

It's not an excuse it's a fact. Injuries are piling up. How can you honestly expect a team to be winning games whenever you look there is an injury? I wasn't anticipated these many guys going down how could you?

I guarantee you Super Bowl teams (that's what was sold to us in the offseason) find a way to win at least one vs ATL/NO.

Yes, because the backups at half the starting spots on every super bowl team just step right in and dominate. My how fortunate so many teams are to have great QBs, WRs, LBs, Defensive Linemen, CBs laying in wait. What a luxury that must be. The Packers looked freaking amazing when Rodgers broke his collarbone.

I can't believe this many are so surprised or upset that we've lost the last two games without Romo and Dez and several other important players. This is a game of inches and we're giving up a mile without stars like that. It either says good things about our team or bad things about our opponents that we've actually been competitive with Weeden at QB, Williams as our lead receiver, players like Jack Crawford and Ryan Russell having to play significant snaps, a rookie linebacker who had played only a few snaps having to step in for Lee, etc.

See the problem is this isn't the NCAA, it's a game of winning or losing and you dont get style points for being competitive. Am I surprised to lose games minus a host of starters, no I'm not. But if you told me we would be up 28-14 in the first half against Atlanta, and on the road with a lead at halftime in New Orleans, I would say no matter who is out you find a way to close those games. That's where the frustration lies. I didn't temper super bowl expectations because Tony & Dez went out, I fully expected to beat Atlanta & N.O., and we should have.

As soon as Romo went down, I was very vocal on here that the Cowboys would be lucky to win one game with Weeden. Many posters, you included, deceived yourself into believing that we could still win 3 or 4 games including the last two that we've lost. The injuries are the only reason why this team isn't 4-0, but don't use the injury excuse if you were still predicting W's as if Romo and Dez could be even marginally replaced.

This is what is so upsetting. Despite the poor personnel decisions with the safeties and the backup QB, both games were still winnable. The coaching has been poor coming out of hatime. lest we forget we gave NO 3 points b/c of 12 men. The game shouldn't have even went to OT.

You act like Dallas was blown out yet and still they still hung in there despite players seemingly dropping on the fly. I thought we could beat the Saints and Falcons because they looked very beatable and they were. Dallas didn't execute very well, but all the injuries put players further down in the rotation in tough spots where they had to perform and it didn't happen. I still believe the Cowboys can win three or four games in the next month and a half or so because Hardy, McClain, and Lee will be back against New England. Dez and Gregory should be back against NYG.

Take Brady and Gronkowski off the Pats.

Take Rodgers and Cobb off the Packers.

Take Wilson and Lynch off the Seahawks.

Neither of those teams win without that much star power on offense.

LOL so the Cowboys took N.O. to OT yet these superior teams/franchises couldn't win that game?

I admire your optimism, I truly do. You named a lot of good players but until 9 is back, 3 wins will be extremely difficult to get and I believe 4 to be out of the question.

So you're expecting the Cowboys to be a flawless football team? Well good luck with that. No team is flawless. Even the teams that are relatively healthy. We weren't perfect last year, but we won a lot of games and were on the verge of the NFC Championship Game because we were able to stay somewhat healthy with all our core players healthy which gave us a chance. That hasn't been the case this season.

What im irked about is that i hear the excuse injuries" lets make something clear, Chuch and Wilcox are not hurt, Mo is not hurt, Carr is not hurt. I would say Tyrone, but someone told me hes being double teamed, cant blame him totally.

Those guys are not hurt, YET, they are not doing much to help us. Even with injuries, it has to end somewhere. Injuries happen, but they A) dont make us play down to our opponents, B) give us more penalties and C) dont allow us to exploit weaknesses. All of those things we are not doing. And to top it off, once agian if something is working Dallas abandons it, Randle scores a TD, he gets benched? Please. Garrett should be thrilled soeone didnt listen to him. Its about the only time they are successful.

Sure as hell ain't a guarantee like you make it sound. Maybe they win, maybe they don't, but I highly doubt either of those teams can survive without two superstar caliber players on the offensive side.

All I heard in pre-season was these games aren't important. Lets hold everybody out, The starters don't need practice. How did that turn out?

2-0, before the QB went down.

Nobody said we'd win very many without Romo.

And I was on record saying not improving on Weeden was our biggest offseason mistake. He's looking like he's proving me wrong. If you're unhapoy with Weeden these last three games, you've got unrealistic expectations for your backup QB.

So this is a thread complaining about why people weren't complaining when the team was winning? Yeah, guess that makes sense.

More about how quickly they turn I think, which is a perfectly legitimate observation.

LOL you guys act like we played the '85 Bears on Sunday. It was the 0-3 'Aints. Most of this site were picking us to win regardless if Brees played. Now we're getting all of these injury excuses....cmon now.

This....

@RunDMC

It doesn't mean I expect a perfect team. I fully expect them to lose the next 3 games. I thought a Super Bowl caliber team would at least grab one of these "easier" games to balance out the losses that are coming the next month. They didn't do it, so now the season is over.

Man, it seems like a lot of fans have been circling around waiting for that right moment to swoop in with the things they hate about this team: Marinelli sucks, Garrett sucks, get rid of the whole team.

Where were you guys last year when we were healthy and everything was going well?

I can't believe this many are so surprised or upset that we've lost the last two games without Romo and Dez and several other important players. When things fall apart like they have this year, you hope and pray for a win knowing that you should lose to teams that have a better QB starting, better No. 1 receiver, etc. The expectation around here are just unbelievable. Even if we were starting Cassel instead of Weeden, we could expect to go no better than .500 with Romo out because these guys are backups for a reason.

Look folks a fan who doesn't mind losing...
