I think I have come full circle on Wade. Originally I thought he wasn't worth the time of day but I grew to understand that alternative opinion. I was actually excited to hear his PC today... So why the android reference? :laugh2: A couple of weeks ago I picked up AT&T's new flagship Android phone (the Samsung Captivate). I haven't been able to put the thing down and think I am developing feelings for it... :eek:: Ok.. enough silliness. So I had been wanting to get rid of Sirius for the longest. The only thing I ever listen to on it is NFL Radio. One freaking channel!!! So I downloaded this android app called SRD (Sports Radio Droid). This little free sucker has just about every local sports radio station across the nation on it ready for live streaming (incl ESPN Radio). Within less than 10 seconds I was dialed into the Fan on KRLD 105.3... On the drive home I had my phone plugged into the aux port in the ride with Wade's post practice gathering pumped through the speakers. I never thought I would be that excited to hear Wade from Florida but I was. Just a few minutes ago, I called and discontinued my Sirius subscription. It feels good. :starspin

Lemme know when he gets a blackberry:rolleyes:

Yes! Droid vs Blackberry fight:eek::

Thanks for telling me about this! just got the app, what are some other good stations on there that occasionally have cowboys coverage?

Cool, I returned an Android phone earlier in the year because I couldn't get several stations I wanted. It looks like 103.3 is on the screenshot for it I see on the web, but you say the Fan is on there as well? How about the Ticket?

Is the app pretty stable?

It has been rock solid. The Dallas stations are 105.3 and 103.3. The only other Texas station is 100.3 out of Houston.

THANK YOU for this...I just received my phone today and was downloading stuff and can listen online through the App FlyCast and then link up to The Ticket....I'm going to get that App you mentioned right now!:bow:

Already installed and listening.....that was quick. Again THANKS!

I can't wait till the regular season...

j/k BLEU!

I love this thread!

:p: I never thought I would be excited to hear Wade say the HOF was "ok" in his own special ho hum way.

Thanks, Bleu Star. I just installed it and am listening to GAC (I think) right now.

Another good app for the sportsfan on Android is RadioTime. It not only has sports stations, but it has other radio stations too. The big bonus is that it streams The Ticket out of Dallas as well. That's pretty rare it seems like.

You're my boy Bleu!!!

Thanks man, just installed it on my droid. Now I can listen to them at work

:bow: :bow:

Cool, thanks. Just downloaded myself. A lot of choices on this app.

Thank you for the tip. I've been an HTC Evo owner for a week now. Gonna check this app out.
