I saw him being active once again and I was happy. He was among the few that shared appreciation for Wade while lamenting the incompetence that was Jason Garrett when the forum and media was inundated with Garrett love and Wade hate.

Everyone forget how Wade's defense would fold end of the half or end of the game? Or how the defense could not get a stop when it counted? Seems to be a common theme with all the DC's defenses in Dallas since forever. IMO it is a cultural issue that goes beyond coaching and schemes. This organization is soft.

A lot of people are tough on Marinelli, but he continues to work with a lot of hot garbage.

What catalytic players do we have on defense?

This guy developed both David Irving and Demarcus Lawrence, the former being created out of whole cloth.

I do think he mismanaged the situation among our linebackers, but a lot of that was Garrett and McClain. I think the team felt compelled to keep Lee at weakside when Jaylon Smith is a much more natural weakside linebacker than middle. In fact, had everyone been healthy, I would have played Smith on the strong side and allowed him to rush the passer more frequently.

The secondary is just a mess.

Reality is Jerry was just waiting to promote Jason and any changes Wade wanted to make were being stifled if they pertained to Jason’s incompetence..

It’s like karma..

Yes it was. Absolutely the worst trade the Cowboys made. The only other one I would rank close to it would be the Joey Galloway trade.

Preach my brother. Some of these young Cowboys fan don't know all this mess. How our offense use to struggle with JG as OC.

Garrett had about 11 or 12 good games as an OC for this team. And that was in 2007. You can pretty much pinpoint the exact time he was exposed and that was against Detroit right after that GB game. We sputtered to finish that season and then the NYG playoff debacle. 2008 sucked. 2009 was all smoke and mirrors. 2010 was trash. 3 straight 8-8 seasons to start his tenure.
