As losses mount, and our players consistently look confused and underprepared pre snap...what in the world is leading you to believe Jerry is NOT getting rid of Wade? Hairs on the back of your neck? Just some intuition? Your "feelings" really have no effect on what is going to happen. and if this team, with this talent, doesnt go to the playoffs, or sneaks in a loses, why would wade keep it?
 
wade and tomlin are among the bottom rung coaches in the NFL

todays game was a lesson (both sides) in poor coaching and guys totally lost at head coach. anything positive coming from either team has NOTHING to do with the head coach.

compounding our problems are that we have a relatively football stupid QB (who's a gamble-o-holic and wanna-be pop-star) and a terrible assistant hc/oc.

Jerry said a few weeks ago that he didn't see a scenario that didn't include Wade as HC next year. But then again what he says doesn't mean anything.

That is your mis-understanding... They did blitz... On the play over the middle to Hamlin, they blitzed up the middle...

It was obvious that as soon as Ratliff went out, they couldn't get any pressure up the middle...

Tank and Hatcher are horrible in the interior...

For whatever he is, he's obviously not cruel and would rather his employee work with a sound mind instead of trying to function while looking over his shoulder.

He's business smart in that respect.

wade is gone without question. i'd wager if we miss the playoffs jason is gone too (or relegated to OC pending approval from new HC -- i'd wager on cowher).

well we can only hope anyways
 
CAn't WAIT until Watkins gets loose on the Wadester this week. It will be a festive week for sure. This team will either pull it together and beat NY and go on a run or it will fall apart. I'm leaning toward the latter, but would love to be wrong. Especially because they are so capable of winning out if they could just get out of their own f'ing way..............

They stopped a fourth and goal... They played against bad field position all day... They were not just dominant, they were flat-out dominant...

Wade is a brilliant defensive coach... It was amazing to actually watch that defense today... I thoroughly enjoyed that performance...

Thats the rub...Wade is a great defensive thinker, a great def co-ord. He just doesnt do well as a #1, cant set the proper tone for an org, cant hold people accountable, doesnt know how to play mind games, get the best out of his talent. And he seems like a nice guy too, heck...a great guy. But he just isnt a HC. It isnt an unusual NFL story.

Fire him Monday.... if not sooner on the flight back to Dallas would be nice.
 
If it wasnt for wade phillips defense this team would have been blown out today.

Firing wade earlier in the year was a dumb idea and its even dumber now.

Now if this team could only figure out how to play 4 quarters.

He's the head coach, isnt he just as much responsible for that as he is the defense?
 
Wrong coach, Garrett blew it not Wade. I do however think Wade needs to pull rank and take over the offense now as well:eek:

Exactly.

Our defense is starting to play crazy good and you guys want to get rid of Wade...

Tony cost us this game guys.

For as many times as we were in bad situations we were lucky to be in the position we were in anyways.
