If your theory is true then Phillips had no business being the HC if he is not willing to overrule his coordinators. Wade was fired from the Cowboys for the same reason he has been fired as HC at other places and that is his team tend to quit on him. I guess Garrett got him fired from other teams as well?

You do remember that Jerry paid Garrett a ton to stay on as OC in 2008 and not go to Baltimore? He paid him 3 million dollars which was a record for an assistant coach in the NFL at that time. Wade had no say in this move. Wade's salary was similar to that of Garrett. No say over who the coordinator was or what he did.

I have always said think about Garrett ending up in Baltimore. No chance they would have won a SB with this clown. Best damn thing ever to have Jerry overspend to keep him in Dallas.

I have always said, Wade is an excellent DC but not a good HC. Being the man in charge did not allow him to excel. Coaches get fired for a lot of reasons. In Buffalo, people largely regret his firing. It is what it is. We do know why Dallas was a unique situation and hopefully you see the same now.

You're a fool too , they went 5-3 done the stretch and the defense was better, it was the defense that sucked during the losing streak. Garrett didn't run the defense, go look at the scores the o put up during the losing streak.

I can't help you. Read through my thoughts in other responses. Hopefully you get a different insight into what actually occurred. The defense had a chance to improve because there was a swing of over 8 minutes of TOP. Think that was important?

My goodness you have serious reading comprehension skills. The point is not who won or lost that game. Your point was that Wade's defense owned us. The FACT is they didn't. The sooner you can get this the sooner you can move on from this topic but I know that you won't get it.
oh I got it, I just wiped my arse with your 13 year old come back... you say I am to serious, LOL bra go have a look. But, seeing as you nor the other wad whinning about my use of a the term, "took it to us" I'll pacify you and say they out scored us. Now can you go back to your big chief coloring book.

I remember Jerry saying Wade as HC had say so in what was taking place. He said those exact words after a loss to the Commanders where Dallas got picked for a TD seconds before halftime. Wade did not like the call by Garrett but as HC it is his job to say lets take it to the house not stand there and let a play take place you do not agree with as HC. As for Wade as a DC he has been one of the best but in the final straw which was the Green Bay game there was no effort by this team. You want to scape goat Garrett for Wade getting fired, well that is your view. I don't agree with it.

Wade Phillip's is the rams Defensive Coordinator. He will have a chance to move to the next step and send Jason and Jerry home at the same time. Wade was always a great defensive coordinator , he just doesnt seem to be head coach material for today's game/media. He has Aaron Donald , Suh, Brockers, Fowler, Talib ,and Peter's at his disposal. Wade was always good with coming up with nice defensive plans. This game will be a very good game.
Wade's defense lost 2 less games than ours and is resting. They have veteran presence. Dallas can't beat anybody with these tes and Wade will shift coverage to the guys who can. You don't have to play that well on defense when your avg 35 points per game. Our rookies vs their All Pros.

The problem won't be can we run the ball. It will be if we can run the ball without turning it over because the Rams are a nastier team who are gonna take the ball away.

We don't win the turnover margin and get defensive scoring PRODUCTION we're bumming because La is gonna hang at least 27 points on our young D.

I don't think we can hold the Rams from Scoring TDS and I'm not even super confident in our fg kicker.

The Jumbo PKG isn't gonna stop Suh or Donald. If the Rams can't make Jarwin and Schultz beat us through the air then they deserve an early exit. Somehow I expect an Indy repeat because we got a te led OFFENSE who te starters never come off the field and they don't contribute in black and white. Let's pray that one of these te scrubs catches a TD or we're gonna be watching next week

If the Ram's can get past Jaylon and LVE we're toast because our secondary is average at best at tackling.
