Wade will have a lot of power - not as much as BP, but a lot more than Campo and Gailey. I just have a hard time believing that he would be a puppet based on his past. Norv also appeared to have no desire to be a puppet. If Jerry wanted a puppet, a younger coach would have been much easier to control in that roll.

Jerry hired Wade to fix the 3-4 defense. He was the most qualified coach available to accomplish this.

Actually i think that all of that family and trust stuff Owens will eat up as ling as he believes Phillips means it.

Everyone seems to associate Owens with urban culture and that ideal but he grew up in the poor rural south.
