It’s not that bad I just can’t train like I used to. Everything lighter now. I just turned 53 so it’s time to leave the heavy stuff to the kids.

I think we will be watching the waiver wire for O-Linemen for sure. Was there any cuts on the O-Line that surprised you.
I can't believe they cut Farniok. He played well at Center this preseason, but cutting him leaves Biadiasz without a backup. If the Cowboys plan on bringing in someone else for backup Center, that's going to take several weeks for that new backup to get used to the scheme and assignments.

Stashing Waletzko for later this season? Does that mean he is going on reserve PUP where he can return later this season, or is he going to IR where he's out for the season? If it's the same recurring past shoulder injury, good luck hoping he's able to play with it this year.
They are designating him to return. Thats why they have to keep him on the active roster for a day. Unlike Ball who they IR'd yesterday. Ball is ineligible to play this year

Maybe we should have kept more of ours. May get ours poached before they get on PS.
Overall I like the roster. So glad that they have a plan for Luepke. I hope that they get everyone that they want on the Practice squad.

You can't be put on the PUP list if you were active at any point during camp. IR is his only option.

It is his opposite shoulder, not the one that was fixed.
The one that was fixed, wasn't fixed. It's a constant issue for him off and on.

He's a terrific player, or they'd just cut ties with him by now.

Me to. Our back up center is trying to be slipped on. He is getting pretty good. This is how we get players poached but we don’t have a choice.

I’m guessing it’s related to the report a few weeks back that he was struggling at guard and would be a center only. Can’t have two guys like that.

On the other hand, this has usurped kicker as my greatest concern for now. If Biadasz goes down even for a few series, the whole offense could be affected.

Either way next years first (if not dealt at the deadline for Aaron Donald hee hee) probably ought to be a top interior OL.

This team got much better when they began to take OL seriously (Fred, Martin) and they need to keep feeding it.

Wow. I hope it’s not the same shoulder. Especially if it’s a cuff. If he tore it again they can fix one more time and that’s it. I tore mine and fixed. I tore it again 11 month later and they fixed again and told me it can’t be fixed again because there is nothing left to sew it’s all shredded. 5 months later I had a partial tare. I am guessing it’s more than a cuff for him.
For real? I didn't know that. I had both of mine repaired. I tore my left one again. I'm tired of surgeries so my PT told me I need to strengthen the muscles around my rotator cuff to help it out. He showed me some exercises and that's what I've been doing these past 3 months and so far, it's helped.

I've heard IR where he can come back. Players that go on IR on day 2 can come back.

Luepke has an outstanding skill set. They were so smart to go and get him. There are so many things that they will be able to do on offense with the personnel that they have.
I agree. At the skill positions, they can effectively play any game they want - speed, finesse, power. They have a wide variety of players and skill sets.
