Sorry, not sweating this much. Yeah it sucks that Hurd and Austin are down. Who knows with Stanback. But understand, that someone of the group is gonna be back in a few weeks. Why overeact with bums like Horn, et al.

This desperation is Stupid! Realize we now have Bennett and Felix as new targets. Realize that we have people coming back soon. Sure it would be great to get another top ten reciever. If the cowboys like Bouldin maybe there is something there. At the moment there is no reason to apply a short term patch that doesnt even know our scheme, timing and routes. I don't think our coaches are as silly as most of you guys. My bet is one of two things will happen.

1. Cowboys stand pat.
2. Cowboys do a blockbuster deal for a top 10 reciever.

They will not grab an average or marginal veteran. Just not worth it.

Its not about snagging a top 10 receiver. Its about we have 2 healthy receivers on the roster. Hell we atleast have 3 receivers playing on ST.

The guy is right. A lot of this depends on who gets cut this weekend. Nothing is happening until next week at least.

So you intend to carry 6 WRs...that's cool. But to carry 6 WRs that means you are cutting depth somewhere else. Someone, be it a corner or a offensive lineman, or a Defensive back, that you might have otherwise kept, and might have otherwise given you more special teams play as well as depth than a Joe Horn or a Clayton will, will have to be cut from the roster in order to allow you enough room to carry 6 WRs.

And, again, that guy you really liked, and cut, isn't likely going to still be sitting there 1-2 weeks later when you cut Horn, or Clayton, once Austin returns from injury. So you lost out on that guy in order to carry 6 WRs for all of one week.

Even if you keep Amendola as your 6th that means you're still cutting out someone, some place else.

I think we will be carrying 6 WR. Somebody on the OL will be getting cut because of the transaction of Holland

Then that's cool. I don't know that I believe we're carry 6 WRs, even with the injuries, but I wouldn't totally rule it out.

Actually, I think the chances are that the Cowboys will do just that and sign someone who can fill the spot until Austin, Hurd, or Stanback are ready. Like I said, Jerry will be watching the waivers very closely. It will not be an aging fringe veteran like Horn that we sign, but will be someone that can play special teams and catch a pass or two in a pinch. I am hoping the Giants release Sinorce Moss. I think someone like him would be the perfect fit for now.

Nevertheless, the chants of peace, harmony, and patience still echo in my ear. How long will the people suffer before another veteran wide receiver is signed? Or must we continue to place our hopes on the likes of Danny Armendola, and Todd Lowber? What comedy is this? The thought of such idiocy rains hilariously in my thoughts! I patiently wait for instruction from the higher powers that be.
