Every team seems to know how important the WR Position is but Jerry Jones. he thinks because he has Owens,he needs no one else.teams will find a way to take away Owens and Witten, just like the Giants did in that playoff game.then what?Jerry just does not get it when it comes to wide-outs.he wont draft any, and he wont trade for any.it's a mistake folks.

Did Jimmy Genius just have Novachek and Irvin as his prime weapons receiving? Sure Emmitt was there but we have Barber and Felix....we also have a better second TE then those years.

Jerry isnt just relying on Owens.....he is relying on his backup WR's in getting healthy. Joe Horn will be a waste here......and a trade for a big time receiver isnt happening.....also....hindsight is 20-20....what WR did you want Jerry to draft? Hardy? Jerry tried and was turned down......

It amazes me..........Jerry has built another contender and he still gets bashed.

It wasnt like this offense struggled last year....right? same players except we have Felix and Bennett added.

and btw....what impact did those 3 4 5 receivers have last year.

I wonder sometimes.....are we playing Madden Football here?

Jerry Jones wanted to trade up for James Hardy in the second round and couldn't get anyone in the room to agree with him.

There goes the theory that Jerry does whatever he wants with a bunch of 'yes men' nodding their heads.

Martellus Bennett is unproven, but he has a ton of upside, Jason Witten considers him to be a future starter in the NFL. MB80 should help us more this season than any rookie wide receiver would have, IMO.
M80 sounds like a great nickname

If Crayton doesn't drop the pass on 3rd down would you still be singing the same tune??????

Jimmy also had Alvin Harper,Kevin williams and Jimmy Smith for a short time. a pretty deep recieving group if you ask me.we have Owens, a 7th round pick and 2 undrafted free-agents. not even close.even if they were not hurt.neither Hurd or Austin, has proven themselves. we need another proven reciever.Jerry needs to stop bringing back guys like Keith Davis, and get a reciever in here.

Harper and Williams were the 2nd WR's......

Did you forget we had Crayton?

In 93 we had 4 wr's I think Kevin Williams,Tyrone Williams,Michael Irvin,Alvin Harper

In 92 we had Alexander Wright,Jimmy Smith(0 receptions),Kelvin Martin(16 32 359) , Michael Irvin, Alvin Harper (16 35 562)

In 94 we had Kevin Williams(13 181) , Michael Irvin,Alvin Harper,Cory Fleming (0 0 0.0)

In 95 we had Kevin Williams,Michael Irvin,Cory Fleming(6 83 ),Billy Davis

Sure looks like a strong group of 3rd...4th....5th opps...they didnt carry five often...;)

I forgot K-mart. that makes the group Jimmy had even stronger. Crayton would not have made that team. we have one reciever on our team now who would have made that team.and thats T.Owens.

When we won the Superbowl in 92-93

Harper had 35 catches for 562 yards in 92

Harper had 36 catches for 777 yards in 93

Last year

Crayton had 50 catches for 697 yards.

It does?

In 1993 the Cowboys had 271 receptions, for 3100 yards, a 11.4 yard avg. per reception, and 15 scores.

In 2007 the Cowboys had 335 receptions, for 4200+ yards, a 12.6 yard avg. per reception, and 36 scores.

Strange math Mr. Wizard.

Stats are for losers.Crayton is not a better player than Harper or Martin. i dont care what the stats say.jist look at the Giants playoff game.K. martin or Harper would not have dropped that pass. and they would not have stopped running on that last drive.nice try, but you are flatout wrong.

Really? Not surprising since it does not fit your agenda.

You are saying that K-Mart and Harper had better hands than Crayton?

You know even less than I thought.

Both were faster than Crayton ..... thats it.

Your posts should prove without any shadow of a doubt what you really are.

Im not sold on Wade or garrett. but the Giants were not the better team that day. i just watched the tape of the game. they had less than 10 first downs. and less than 200 yards offense.the refs gave them that game. and nothing you post will change my opinion on that. the video tape i just watched does not lie.

"200 yards" = statistic or stat
