Hard to understand why he might have detractors considering he reached the size of a small elephant.

He wasn't fat. His film on the field will get him drafted in round 2. Johnson was considered a first round prospect after his junior year. He's going to play at 350-355. Leonard Davis is 366. Johnson's weight gain gives teams something to think about; however, this guy is a player.

Again, the Commanders will be paying the left side some visits with Albert Haynesworth, the Giants have added size and power inside with Canty...

How do you counter it?

Either, you draft Herman Johnson to block their rear-ends, or you get to play against him twice a year when he's playing for the Eagles.


The Cowboys better think long and hard before they draft a little safety over this 6-7, 365 pound offensive guard/tacke. They better think twice.

I don't think the offensive line is "flat out terrible" I think the injury to Romo really put them in a bad position along with losing Kosier and Holland.
