I'd rather let our younger WRs get the time and develope since TG and TO arent getting any younger.

Scott Fowler, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/129">Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers WR Keyshawn Johnson is undecided on whether he will return to play in 2007. Earlier this year, Johnson had stated he'd only play for Carolina if offensive coordinator Dan Henning was retained. Henning was fired earlier this week. "I don't know, man," Johnson said. "There's so much bull that goes along with the NFL. This is one of the toughest calls I've ever had to make. I could play until I'm 40. But I've always felt like that in the offseason, if I start to feel like maybe it isn't for me, then maybe it's time to say, `Never mind.' " Johnson added that he will not participate in learning a new offensive system in Charlotte. "I'm a California guy. My kids (ages 11 and 8, they live with Johnson's ex-wife) are here. You ask me to come in there in March -- nope. You're taking valuable time away from me and my kids," Johnson said.

I don't even think you spend a second day pick on a receiver. Maybe a 7th if you're feeling adventurous. Go elsewhere for now.
Don Corleone;1317520 said:Agreed, but if a receiver is the best player available when we pick, regardless of round, I would say that we have to take him.
We get in trouble when we draft for need. We just need to stick with the best player available, and fill in the gaps via free agency.

I'm not too thrilled with leaving the future of our WR corps in the hands of a couple undrafted free agents.stealth;1317503 said:I think between hurd and austin we don't need another young receiver. Key would serve a nice role for next season.

I knew someone would say this and started to add something to my post about that. The rarity of Romo is what makes his story so great. Lightning rarely strikes twice.smarta5150;1317588 said:Our QB is one

I like what I've seen from Hurd and Austin when they've played. I don't expect more than a Crayton type role out of either, though.
