Warren Sapp doesn't believe Parsons is good pass rusher

I think he's overrated at times , he's basically Dak in a sense where he's able to get you stats, but he doesn't nothing GREAT in a big game!

I dont know what reasons he gave for his opinion but i have to admit he is not totally wrong.

A player who has great skills - no question - but disappears more than half of a game on a constant basis should be questioned.
As a pass rusher the game for you has to have 60 minutes. No way you can be a 30-minute-man like Parsons is.

maybe he is not able to handle constant punishment as a pass rusher -> then he is not good enough.
Maybe he is too light? Then bulk up, but then he will be too slow -> that means he is not good enough.

When i watch him play, even after 3 years he still gets killed by double teams. the LT sets him up and the TE destroys him. After that he is MIA because everybody would be.
Does he change something? No. As i said the same stupid way to approach those double teams. Lets himself be destroyed because he rushes like an idiot without understanding.

We all know he has a very low IQ. But still come on man! Dont you wanna be considered as a great one one day ?

There's way more to being a good DE than pass rush ability.
Erratic with lack of discipline, getting caught out of position, giving up run yardage on the edge, putting the opposing team in favorable second and third down yardage situations, ...... game killers.
A sack a game does not make up for it.

Yeah he gets doubled, held, schemed, etc., but so do a lot of DEs. That's football.
He's no Ed Jones or Harvey Martin.
