Well I'm not but I stayed at a HOliday Inn once. Maybe you can send an email to the Packers medical staff and they will send you their results to help you out with your off the wall, out in left field, out of this world theory that Favre "malingered and lied."

Do you really think, your physician thinks you have the flu because you told him you do? We have to question everything. The point is you don't make any conclusions until all the evidence is present.

If someone wanted to criticize me for making a diagnosis based on a television replay, they are within their right to do so. I admitted that. However, I think it's odd that we don't even question that this was a possibility because it's Brett Favre. But when Donovan McNabb sat out part of the Superbowl, a lot of fans questioned his motives. Why are we allowed to question McNabb but not Favre? Hasn't McNabb played with a pulled groin and other injuries as well?

in my opinion i dont think it was farve that wanted to stay out...what i think happened was farve was forcing things and the coaching staff saw that so when he got hurt, they prolly told him it was best to stay out the rest of the game

You are right. As physicians, we should just make a conclusive diagnosis based on what the patient tells us and presents to us. Who needs X-rays, MRI's and CT's. The next time you see a radiologist, tell him or her their services are not needed. After all, we only pay them about 500K per year because we enjoy doing so

A little different there Doc between Joe Dock Worker who comes in 5 tmes a year with a suspicious back problem to a guy that has played professional sports for 17 yrs and plays with any and every injury he has ever incurred. You might be great at reading an X-ray, but you have the logic of a postpartum female.

If I am not sick, I don't go to the Doctor. If Favre is not hurt, the Trainer is not touching him. He is in the game. You can question Favres heart all you want, but next time you go to work be sure and stop by for a lobotomy.

No way Favre is going to pull himself out of a such a huge game with enormous implications. You don't start 52,294 games in a row by being "intimidated". If he had to come out, the man was definitely hurt pretty badly. I read something about a swollen collarbone. Perhaps his throwing side?

He had numbness in his right hand coming from his elbow.

He also separated his left shoulder.

Favre also has a history of ducking out of some games in which they get blown out. When you add the Dallas game on top of this, I'm not so sure Favre doesn't know when to fold em. It wouldn't suprise me if Favre starts next week. I find it odd that for someone who is forced to leave games can suddenly be magically healed and start the following week.

Patriots's game in 2006, Pats win 35-0. Favre leaves game with an elbow injury and numb fingers. He returns the very next week to start in the Seattle game.

Baltimore game in 2005, Ravens win 48-3. Favre was 14-of-29 for 144 yards and two interceptions before being replaced by Aaron Rodgers late in the third quarter. Favre returns the next week to start.

i found it a little disappointing that favre left for the locker room......when he knew that dallas had sealed the win. maybe it's not a big deal......but it seemed a little odd......he wouldn't have left if green bay had pulled off an upset.

They still have to order imaging to confirm or deny a diagnosis. Just because they have his limb wrapped, it doesn't mean they know exactly what he had. You are obviously arguing about things you know nothing about. And do you really think you are impressing anyone with your one-liner insults. I'm guessing you are still in high school..."err stop by and get a lobotomy"

Again, I thought last years game against the Patriots was particularly interesting. The Pack get blown out. 35-0. Favre has to leave the game due to an injury, yet he is 100% the very next week to start and continue his streak. What's even more interesting is that he had nearly the same injury. But lets' ignore all that because he is Brett Favre and shouldn't be questioned

It's obvious Favre was injured on that play. We know he is not faking any injury. At the same time, I do question whether Favre chose to sit out the remainder of the game. Favre has a reputation for playing through pain.

Pain had nothing to do with it. He literally could not GRIP the football. If you can't grip the football, you can't throw the football.

I guarantee you Favre wasn't "intimidated". He simply was not able to play. I've been hit just like he got hit and I also could not grip the fooball (couldn't even feel the football with that arm).

How long did it take for your feeling and strength to return? Were you able to regain full functionality in a week? I ask that because I'm sure Favre will start in less than 9 days.

Rack probably sat on his hand for 15 minutes and...

Well, it doesn't qualify for what happened to Brett.

(sorry Rack, I don't speak Spanish :p)

i never could see the helmet hitting anything; but nate claimed he felt something hit his head. if favre hadn't been injured; i suspect that he would have ended up with 6-7 picks......

either way, i can't defend favre: i've never been a fan.....i've had to listen to way too many years of the fawning, adoring media glorify/deify him. 'course, that's what some people are starting to say about romo......:D

Took about 2 or 3 days for me to be able to fully grip a football.

Hell just the other day I 'pulled' something in my left wrist while shutting a door. Felt like someone stabbed my inner forearm with a knife. Couldn't shut my hand all night. The next day it was fine, no soreness whatsoever. I still don't know what the hell happened.

You can't see it from that angle, but if you look closely you could tell that Nates' helmet hits Favre's elbow right when his arm comes up to throw the football.
