Was JG even in the building when Paul Alexander was fired?

In hind sight it is hard to believe JG would fly to the world series if they were planning to fire their OL coach. Wouldn't you be back working with Colombo and bringing back Hudson Houck?

It might be a critical error akin to Romo going to Cabo

Doesn’t really matter. Jason doesn’t get to pick his coaches anyway. He’s just a figure head for the Jones family.

He won’t notice for awhile anyway. He’s a 9-5 mail it in guy.

Well Jerry thought it would be quite awkward to have Jason there, while he fired someone, and Jason clapping afterwards.

Nope, more than likely Garrett was at the annual Clappers seminar.

Some of the most famous clappers were there, including the idiot that invented the clap on clap off light.
Lol, "annual Clappers seminar". Well done, I'm still laughing.

Lol, a little melodramatic there.

And who cares? It's a change that needed to be made. That's what matters.

I figured with the way the OL has taken a step back this year, Alexander would be the first to go. Kinda surprised it was midseason. La'el in particular seems to have taken a step back and Tyron is not playing well either. Not sure how Columbo fixes it, but what the heck.

Jesus you guys will try to read into anything.

They'd already decided he was gone, and Jason probably was visiting with Houck, who has lived in CA since his retirement.

You guys just have to get your heads collectively around the fact that Jason is the coach of this team and that he's got an impact directly on all the big decisions that get made. These fantasies where you try to rationalize how that might not get the case are pure silliness.

Why would it matter? The dysfunctional Dallas Cowboys don't let the head coach hire his assistants.

They hodgepodge together a coaching staff and expect them to work together well.
