Was Last Night A Boring Game?

NFL.com called last night's game a "snooze-fest."

I suppose for many football fans it was boring.
-Only one TD in game
-Not lot of big splash plays
-Giants weren't competitive and game wasn't close

Me? I was just grateful we won with ease and given the opponent...quite happy for the generally low-risk offense.

I guess if you're not a fan of either team. For me it's all about the W, nothing else, not stats, or splash plays, not TD's, not fantasy football stuff or anything other than winning.....

I'll tell you what, our dull fans were out in full force last night. Aside from the occasional third down, that place was as quiet as could be. It's gotten a lot better over the past couple of seasons, but last night sucked.

I'd be entertained in a 3-0 game, as long as we come out ahead. At least it wasn't sloppy football, like the Eagles-Commanders game was

If you're not a Cowboys fan, you can't stand to watch them dominate a game like that. It's only exciting when someone is beating Dallas.

Not a bunch of Offensive TDs.
No big Pick Sixes or Fumbles recovered for TDs.
No Safeties
No Punt or Kick returns for TDs or big gains.

I guess some could call it boring and I could understand it.
I would imagine if this were two other teams that we did not care for...it would probably seem kind of boring to us as well.

But since it was the first game of the year, and since it was the Cowboys and since the Cowboys beat the Giants...I found it highly entertaining.

Any time we win, and we beat the Giants, and they score no touchdowns, and we get Eli Face, its never boring!!

No, I appreciate the defensive domination. When defense dominates, game looks boring. I'm ok with boring as long as we're winning. Sure beats a fun loss.

I would say if you're not a Cowboys fan that was a very boring game. I was very entertained though. I find it weird that I was very entertained to watch the Rams yesterday just destroy the Colts. Don't know why it was just fun to watch

Weeks 4 to 6 is when you see who teams really are.

It was a weird game, but it wasn't boring. Those kind of games are what I remember the NFL being like in my youth, not this modern college football, no defense, shoot outs.

Holy crap I actually saw the Cowboys gets sacks, a turnover, and play solid defense.

This team looks like the Patriots when Brady was younger.

It was all about Dak for me I knew we were going to win and win easy, I thought we would be a little better offensively.

A lot of NFL and espn tv people are Giants or eagles fans so they won't like it

There weren't a lot of flashy or big plays but as I cowboy fan i was moderately entertained and extremely happy with the result
