I wanna get a pulse on the flavor of the week....

STILL a mistake not naming him HC?
Exposed against good team?
It was the players, not the coach?

Yes, Sparano is still a better coach than anyone on this staff.

Sparano was one of the few guys who would chew out anyone on this team. Yeah, this team misses that.

It might have been. Either way, Jerry's fascination of Garrett might be a detriment. He should have made him HC and got it over with. Sink or swim with the guy, if you believe in him so much.

As for Sparano, I think you have to wait, 2-3 seasons before everyone thinks he is a next great one. We have seen lots of one hit wonders.

hard to be too hard on sparano for that loss

They took a 1-15 and took them to the playoffs which alone was a great acheivement. Without that Ginn poor play they come within one score and it could have been interesting

The ravens are good though

Had we made Tuna GM and Sparano head coach, who knows where we'd be.

He was a smack in the middle of BP and Wade......would've even said TO's name......but wouldve called him out also......

the herd mentality took over, a push for "change".....ala Garrett......flavor of the week for most.....

Garrett will be better than good in time....wasnt ready to be OC then and not ready to HC now

If Atl and Ravens can get receivers open for rookie QB's......If Atlanta and Ravens can get their Olines to give rookie QBs time.....why cant we?

or are those rookies better than Romo?

Yeah it was a mistake and not getting Norv as HC instead of Wade was a colosal mistake by Jethro to. I knew hiring Wade was a huge mistake but I didn't know not hiring Norv was a huge mistake!

The ravens are good though

They got flat-out dominated. If you noticed, Pennington threw 4 INTs. Baltimore allowed Miami to score, trying to put the game away with big-shots downfield instead of controlling the clock. When they went back to running the ball, McGahee burst threw with that big run.

Miami sinks or swims with Pennington, who is a game-manager. This type of play-calling got exposed when they play good teams. Pennington made this team, more so than any coaching.

Last year, Miami had a revolving door at QB.

The got dominated but if they scored at that point it would have been a different game - 1 score game and focus would have been more intense. They would have still lost in likelihood as the ravens are very good but come off it, baltimore did not allow them to score ...

The point is, they only benefitted when Baltimore tried to put the game away by taking stupid shots downfield, when it was 20-6. It had more to do with Cameron thought he was Jason Garrett for a moment.

Losing Sparano wasn't a mistake.

Find someone to replace everything he did for us was.
