Not unless something is very very wrong with Drew Brees.

I don't see the value of trading Romo to New Orleans unless we got something in return because we would then have no backup. I also don't see New Orleans surrendering more than the mythical third round choice either.

It also depends if we have designs on a veteran backup (and there is only one even remotely worth signing). The idea of having only Bledsoe and Henson should scare anyone.

why would NO trade for Romo when they just spent a bunch on Brees, and used a 2nd on a QB last year?

I say if Tony Romo stays consistent, he gets the starting position and a exclusive contract.

According to Galloway, in today's walk off with the media after the PC, Parcells told the media he needs to get Romo 8 or 9 quality quarters in the preseason so he can go to Jerry with a proper evaluation. So, Romo is most likely going to play half the preseason games and Parcells would prefer to do that against opposing team's starters so they have a better idea of Romo's potential especially with him being a FA after the year and contract negotiations ongoing.
