what was 70 doing over there then? Campbell said they both did, even after the game they can't get it straight.

No one really knows what happened. The video does not provide audio. But if if this happened to the Cowboys I'd be pretty pissed off too.

My question is why did 3 Lions go to the ref? Clearly they were trying to confuse the Cowboys but instead they confused the refs.

This much I do know. #68 was not covered. But I would have to see the other side of the line before the snap.

But after a player reports, the defense is alerted by the refs. If the refs told the Cowboys #70 was eligible and not #68 then the Cowboys would have a good argument on that play too. Although there would be nothing the refs could do about it. The refs threw the flag immediately and so they didn't think 68 was eligible.

It's too bad this happened in a close game because Mike McCarthy deserves a lot of criticism for the play calling before the FG. And Quinn deserves a lot of criticism for giving up that TD so easily.
