Objectively speaking...the injuries became insurmountable. Throw in a new DC who is trying to do Quinn's thing and not his own into the mix. Coaching failure? By record maybe.

I wouldn't mind having him back because I don't think there are better options that will come.

Lance should have been the starter the second Dak went down and we all knew it, but Dak was already signed so Trey never mattered after that.

That's what this franchises assets are for, Jerry's ego, we traded a 4th rounder so Jerry could try and show off his ego, which backfired as bad as it possibly could have. Shocker.

I don’t understand the lack of confidence in our coaches.
The roster sucked to start the season. The defense lost most of its best players for a long losing stretch. Everyone was learn g Zimmer. The offense had no playmakers except Lamb and the OL was a real mess due to injuries and rookies.
Yet the coaches somehow has the defense playing tough and the offense moving the ball with backup QBs, an improved OL and run game despite no playmakers except Lamb at wr.

Don’t the coaches deserve some respect for that?

I haven't given a lick of thought about the coaching staff because it's a foregone conclusion their back. For better or worse they give eternity to their coaching staffs around here.
