Objectively speaking...the injuries became insurmountable. Throw in a new DC who is trying to do Quinn's thing and not his own into the mix. Coaching failure? By record maybe.

I wouldn't mind having him back because I don't think there are better options that will come.

The Cowboys have been in the Bottom 10 in most penalties per year every year he has been the HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

In 3 of those 5 years, they have been in the Bottom 5.

In 2 of those 5 years, they have been in the Bottom 3.

In 2021, they lead the league in penalties.

If MM is the HC next year, fine whatever. But if I had a vote, he is out.

I super wasted 4th round pick. Just to have him as the 3rd string QB and hardly play him. Just dumb. And we did it again with the Mingo trade. Just dumb moves.

Perhaps taking the vast majority of preseason snaps was his chance to prove something then, back when he played like a bum. Players are allowed to 8mprove and learn during the year. Maybe he just wasn’t ready.
