Lance has shown flashes but needs reps badly. The playcalling isn’t helping much and the line was ill prepared for his style. I see potential for #2 if Dallas goes that route but this should have been his 4th game, not first. I would rather it be him than Rush if it is between the two.

I hate hindsight stuff more than anything. Anytime a play doesn’t work, people act like the other play would have worked. Yada yada yada.

Plus, you don’t run the ball on third down there. That’s isn’t a running down.

It's not hindsight if you're QB is Tray Lance, your #1 receiver is Cooks, you know you're going for it on 4th down anyway, and you have 1 timeout left to stop the clock if you don't get in. Your best bet to score there is running the damn ball.
