A good coach will run an offense that capitalizes on its quarterbacks strengths but it is annoying that it takes lance to play to see us run things that look at least modern. It should take lance being in the game to see rpos, sweeps, motion, reverses etc.

Turpin would be used as a decoy in motion and on the field on almost every down by a shannahan or Johnson scheme

It's not hindsight if you're QB is Tray Lance, your #1 receiver is Cooks, you know you're going for it on 4th down anyway, and you have 1 timeout left to stop the clock if you don't get in. Your best bet to score there is running the damn ball.

Maybe the QB should be able to throw a td there? Running qbs are trash if they can’t throw. Maybe we’re trying to coach him up in a meaningless game. Most of all, maybe the rpo doesn’t work.

Like I said, so easy to criticize a play that doesn’t work.
