Game Day Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys Postgame

Lemme see...
Lance has a stronger arm than Rush. But most of us already knew that.
To add, the Cowboys had 15 minutes more time of possession and a hundred more total yards of offense.
Defense sacked the QB 6 times and won the turnover battle 1 to 0.

So basically....
Another Cowboy special on how to somehow lose a game that essentially defies all the advance metrics logic.
Cowboys!!

Landry kept us almost at the top with Meredith, Morton and White.
Try again
Landry was awful at the end, but he was a great coach. He won 2 Super Bowls in 20 something years. The league is a lot different now.

has anyone explained what the problem was on 4th and 1 and delay of game?

11 penalties against them and 1 of 6 in the red zone. I blame MM for both. His team is undisciplined, and his play calling is poor.

That worked out about as well as you would hope.

They played good enough to almost win the game but ultimately lost and helped their draft pick position.
That's a win-win situation, you win if you win, but if you lose you're still helping your draft pick order.

There’s no upside to winning that game. Give me the 12th pick over the 17th any day of the week.

Colts are up 3 in OT against the Jags. They are a team in front of the Cowboys in drafting. Root for that lead to hold.

49ers and Cardinals is the last remaining game with significant W/L draft impact. Assuming SoS holds, root for the 49ers.

There's always next year, folks. And this is one to forget.
Colts won that game.

I wouldn’t say Lance looked pretty good. But I won’t say he looked bad either. He looked like a young guy who has some tools but who also needs some live-fire experience. I wouldnwrite him off if he’s willing to sign a team-friendly.
Truthfully I wouldn't mind seeing him replace Rush if he didn't cost too much to be worth it.

weak as usual; once again propping up Big and Little Enos

People on this site wanted will Grier over Rush so I know we're not turning our nose at trey Lance. But this is cowboyszone

Trey Lance abused? Cuz his face was selling that he was having a blast just being out on the field for a change.
You caught me being hyperbolic, but it’s cruel to the fanbase that Lance was told to play the roll of a pocket passer in the red zone, when his speed could have made a difference
