Washington Post: Commanders Trying to Land Cutler

Too many reports now are saying that it's going to happen as soon as this evening.

On GAC, they are throwing together things they've read from Cleveland and reports Mosley is getting from people he knows, probably from Washington.

It would be something like:

-Washington gets Cutler and Tony Scheffler (surprised Denver would give TS)

-Cleveland gets a second and Campbell

- Fred Davis goes to one of the two

- Denver gets Washingtons #1 this year AND next year. And Carlos Rogers was involved somehow. Mosley actually said they think DeAngelo Hall makes Rogers expendable! :lmao2:

Don't take this too literally. It's all talk of what might be involved, *not* exactly what is being proposed.

On the other hand, some teams (Chicago, Detroit, KC, Jets) have been searching for a franchise QB for 40+ years. And when you think about it, you're really only talking about one first rounder (just assume that Cutler is in this draft and the Skins take him with the 13 pick).
I am sure that's Dannys logic, and hey who needed an Oline to protect the almighty Jay Cutler? One look and the opposing defenses shall cower on their sideline. We may win 8 games simply by the opposing team defaulting. Yes we will reign supreme and Jay Cutler shall show his might. :ralph:

so have you stopped quaking in your boots?:p:

Yes, whew! :)

But now they have to patch things up with Campbell since he knows they wanted to get rid of him. Excellent. :eek:hboy:

Wish he had gone to the AFC. But at least we don't have to face him twice a year. Bears are now much better.

I dont think that is going to be a problem. In Campbells interview earlier today he didn't hold any ill-will and said that regardless the circumstance, he was going to give it his all.

There shouldn't be any type of drama going on there... but then again, they are pro athletes, so who knows.

If they pick up a WR that can do something in the draft they could be scary.

Rumor is they are targeting Holt. With Hester and their guy from Vandy they could be explosive.

Is their defense still pretty good?
