Washington Times: Cowboys take physical play much too far

What a gutless pinworm. Apparently the first nfl game he's EVER watched! BTW: It was a spotlessly clean play when Samuel went low on MB3 and could've shredded his knee: he didn't mention that though: what a ******.

I thought we got the mask so much because Westbrook is so short that our huge lineman just grabbed whatever they could. ;)

DeMarcus Ware had his facemask pulled and yanked after he looped inside and busted through the line. No call. Did anyone else see this?

Rampage,

Thanks. I'm pretty sure the one I saw was in the first half. Did you see Ratliff bust through and get held around his waist on a completion? No call, again.

far dirtier in my mind was when Brown (I think) just took out Owens leg on the first down catch on the first drive. He didn't try to go for the body, just took out the leg.

yeah ok wasn't all that dirty but you get my point ;)

yeah but since it didn't get called very few noticed. it's the saying "their's holding on every play it's just a matter of if a ref see's it.

This guys article is a joke.
This stuff just happens...he has obviously never played the game of football.
I watched the Indy vs Minnesota game on sunday and I thought Indy's defense was borderline dirty.
I seem to remember Adrian Peterson breaking away for a 20 yd run and Robert Mathis coming up behind him while Peterson was stiff arming another player and Mathis purposely going for the back of his legs. He wasn't being blocked but just ran up from behind and hit him in the back of his knees.
Does anybody report on that????
No, instead we get some two-bit hack who hates the Cowboys trying to vent against them.
Somebody actually pays this guy for this crap!
Amazing.

I can't believe they let that guy hit Romo upside his head. His neck snapped back. No call on that, either.

I saw Q. Mickel hit Barber with the crown of his helmet. That guy is a cheapsot artist. He is a headhunter.

Thorny: Smell that, Rabbit?
Rabbit: *sniff sniff*... fear.

At the very least, the perpetrators would be retaliated against - and in the '50s, NFL law was about as forgiving as Islamic law.

What is this suppose to mean and why take a game to that level?

Did anyone see Jones Drew on Sunday? He had his helmet turned completely backwards, and I do mean COMPLETELY. That could have been a devestating injury. But ya, the boys are headhunters, please.

Don't forget the play where Henry's jersey grabbed the wr. That was clearly part of this well orchectrated strategy to win the game..

Uhhhh...

Why would you ever let go of a players face-mask once you've grabbed it... even accidentally? It's 15 yards if you let go, and 15 yards if you go ahead and hold on to the darn thing and guarantee the tackle. The NFL really botched the rule change this time.

Also... the whole hitting the QB in the head rule is a J-O-K-E. It is an obvious way to let the refs determine the outcome of games (i.e. keep them interesting/ratings up) ... just like they use pass-interference. I love the Cowboys, that's the only reason I keep watching this WWF version of the NFL. I dare anyone to tell me that the Commish doesn't use his lackeys (the refs) to "guide" the season along...

I'll be happy if one person can show me a game in the last 3 years where the Cowboys had fewer bogus calls/non-calls than our opponent.

*** I should probably be medicated *** LOL

In truth, if it were the Eagles who had three different guys grab and steer down Owens on three different plays then we would all be saying that it was on purpose and that it was bush-league. You can't have it both ways. Even I sat there watching the game asking if anyone could NOT grab Westbrook's facemask.
