Washington would be foolish to try and win

What worries me is same situation as last year.

Inconsitent QB play all season and then the enter a new QB in the final game and he injects life into them.

Brissett has balled out in every game he has came into. He is capable and can play well
The owners decide who plays QB. Do you really think the owners, who invested billions in the team, don’t want the 2nd pick in the draft?

Issue might be that coach is gonna be fired and he has nothing to lose.
Well, that, and.... the players on the field... the ones who want to be on the team or on a roster somewhere next season... will do all they can to play well... ie, to win.

(Hope the OP was meant as sarcasm.)

There are few teams who will more want to show up and show out than WAS against the team that beat them on a Thanksgiving national stage... and worse for us, a team that actually held their own against us for much of that game... and and and... that played about 3 quarters of that game w/ the Niners yesterday tough.

The trap is set.

They are 4/12. Losing could give them top 3 pick. Win and they could go to 7th? If I’m coaching them I’m resting starters and ensuring a loss. Issue might be that coach is gonna be fired and he has nothing to lose.
So does Washington hate the Eagles or Cowboys more. Which team do they want screw over more.

they will fight
Most people do if/when they feel their jobs are threatened.... football or otherwise.

It's nearly insane for anyone to think the opposition is going to roll over for us on Sunday, it really is. Our guys will have to fight to win, or they're going to get punched in the mouth in a similar way to what the Cardinals punched Philly in the mouth yesterday.

AKA Love Smith and the Houston Texans.....Lovie Smith...cost the Texans the number 1 pick last year...but that ended up working out great for the Texans as CJ Stroud has been outstanding

If the Cowboys come out strong and take an early lead, they will lay down.
Agree, but have we done that in the road all year? I admit I’m very worried about how the team responds to all this good fortune.

Kind of like all those years we went 6-10 or 8-8 and was still trying/winning games even after we were eliminated from the playoffs...drove me crazy to watch us give up a better draft position for a meaningless win.
