NO QB can run an offense without a consistent offensive line. that can run the damn football on a consistent basis .stop getting penalties .stop releasing guys from both the outside tackles. Martin's aging before our eyes, we got huge problems and quarterbacks not one!!!​

it's not a bad contract because ,many of the contracts for the top ten highest paid quarterbacks in the league are all in a similar spot and the only one performing up to it for the most part is Patrick mahomes and maybe Josh Allen now but over a long period of time this is what you get you either gonna get some below average quarterbacks like Daniel Jones making 42,000,000 Prescott's far better than he is and somehow you keep pointing out Prescott even the post that says the opposite line is bad saying Prescott's bad , HECK no Prescott's not bad..​

but most of this is about coaching and it's been around the players around Prescott are not doing their job you can't play quarterback with things crumbling around you... I also remember in 2020 when we had a I think you're Elliot trying to run behind that terrible offensive line and he had like his worst year fumbling and everyone said he fumbles too much really without context again... I mean do you guys ever watch football before you keep blaming one person it's a team game and the last person on my list did I come to would be the quarterback would be Prescott or Romo because I've watched enough football to know this is from the top down coaching front office GM execution and mostly defense you can't even go into a game and have confidence that if you just play normal football that you can win a game your defense gives up so many easy touchdowns you come into a game thinking you have to play perfect and you know what happens you play tight you make mistakes you try to do too much because nothing else is working..

we tried to do this in 2022 he still won 12 games but he came back from a broken hand and he had a calf injury and he still managed to put together a very good season and right now there is no good season because this is like 2020 when you can't play well in the trenches your skill players are not executing your best players are also in your words have bad contracts Trayvon diggs and CD lamb aren't doing anything everybody else where's cake where's Michael Parsons all right they're not even playing we're missing 8 guys on defense...

Correct blame the quarterback when we only have two offensive lineman that are playing even average to above average the other three are all taking turns at allowing Prescott to be a pinball machine back there then adding all the penalties then adding the tight ends are not blocking well then the defense sucks then added all this other stuff but I keep opening up the page and it's blame Prescott for everything and anybody who thought Cooper Russ played better when he came in without context on when he came in and how Atlanta was then gonna play the rest of the game is nonsense he didn't even look better to me he started out the same way and it's a game got closer and closer to the end Atlanta called up the dogs didn't we call those garbage time didn't we call those padded stats nonsense but whenever it's Cooper rush it's a different story you all just don't absolutely have a clue on how to watch football because no quarterback is gonna be able to survive in a game like yesterday most of these games that we're losing it starts and ends in the trenches on both sides of the ball and we've been terrible any games in which we actually held up decent on both sides we won those games

He is not good enough at LT.

But yes it is easier to find good LGs. You usually draft those in late roujnd 2 or in the 3rd.
But we are not good at drafting players. We need to overspend with first rounders to find good guards.

I kind of feel like the next coach will change that ... kick Tyler out to LT, flip Guyton to RT and let Steele go (possibly trade him for a late-round pick). Then, we'll sort the interior out among Richards, Bass, Beebe and Hoffman. (I'm assuming Martin is going to retire since he was thinking about it this year.) Of course, it depends on how much the Joneses interfere with those personnel decisions.

You can tell how good or bad your team is when you see who could start over past teams. I couldn't name a modern Dallas Cowboy playing this season I'd even consider able to start over anybody of past Super Bowl teams. Maybe CeeDee??? That's about it...... But go to the 90's teams you'd have a few good arguments in their favor. So, that's how you can tell how good or how bad your team is. And by those standards. WE HAVE A VERY BAD TEAM!!

In defense of guyton, I don't think the pocket is supposed to be that far back, he's pushing his guy outside like he's supposed to.

The reason why the pocket stretched that far back was becasue everyone else not name Smith let a jailbreak up the middle come.

That one singular play should be the poster play for the 2024 season. Down by multiple scores we can't provide any pass rush in the OL. QB makes a scramble and throws up a prayer, falling RB plays keep the balloon from falling to the ground and on his back he catches a TD.

Emotionally exciting play, but absolutely no susbstance behind it to justify it was anything other than a fluke catch. So 2024 to date for this team.
