Not that anyone cares what I think or that I have Valley Ranch bugged, but as much as I sincerely wanted to give Moore the benefit of a doubt, I can't convince myself that Jones & Jones Inc is actually going to go through with the proposition of going into the 2016 season without a back-up who has seen some actual success at some point in his career.

To that end, I'm looking at a certain former star Westlake QB, and recalling the Cowboys' propensity through the years to bring Texans home to play in Big D. Apples to apples, I might prefer McCown actually, but I can see the Browns keeping him--RGIII is just too fragile, and they can probably get away with keeping a developmental QB on their practice squad. While it's true that Foles hasn't excelled in two years, when he did excel, he really excelled... and it's not like there's a big price to pay (he's only owed another $1.5m from what's been reported, having already pocketed $6m in bonus from LAR), and it's not like he's been injured a lot.

Why hasn't anything already went down? My theory is probably the same as some of you others... until the Jets get their starting QB signed... as long as that domino is still standing... none of the others are going to fall. And of course, that probably means that everything stands pat until training camp, with Fitzpatrick's agent waiting to see if some other team's QB gets hurt, suddenly blessing him in July or August with leverage he just doesn't have today in May.

No need to watch a lot of Kellen Moore to figure this out. He is the opposite of a lot of wanna be QBs that come in the league. Fine from the neck up, not so much from the neck down.

Garrett falls in love with guys that reminds him of himself. :D we definitely could do way better but like it's been said a million times, any team can kiss their season goodbye if their star qb goes down.

Much ado about nothing, I'm afraid. Right now, as it stand's in this league today, the Cowboys are lucky to have a starting caliber QB. There are team's out there who haven't even figured that one out, so I'd say it is perfectly fine for the Cowboys to wait and see what happen's. The names mentioned could possibly drive the bus (though I doubt it) but the Cowboys aren't going anywhere in 2016 without Romo throwing the ball. The Cowboys focus above all should be on keeping Romo healthy...because, again, if it ain't Romo under center, it quite simply doesn't matter who they put back there.

Well, I guess one day we have to pull of a Philly or Washington, too and send a bunch of picks and future picks to a team for the first or second overall pick. Like a lot of people say, "it is worth" to do it for a franchise QB.

Give the guy a honest shot with a off season and reps. I watch the kid play and saw him make some real clutch throws with extreme accuracy. Although he is 4-5 years in the league but he does need polish and that comes with live reps. I'm not all for Moore although he is my guy but all for the Cowboys. Right now I think he shown enough to START TC as the second qb.

How do you know they didn't try? Plus maybe eagles offer was too much and not worth it. You never know, just because they didn't doesn't mean they didn't try

True but the way stuff gets leaked at the ranch. We would of heard something.

It's a matter of degree. We can't survive Romo going down for several games, true, but let's say his back keeps him out a game or two or three... not at all unlikely... heck, the division often is decided on that many games, so just have to take seriously identifying someone who has a decent chance of driving the bus well enough to win for that many games.

Rams seemingly would have to be open to offers, as reported pre-draft. Do we hold out for Foles' release, or are we willing to part with a draft pick? If a draft pick, how high?... If Jerry calls, I might tell him he can part with a 5th w/o facing my wrath.
