All or Nothing showed what is wrong with the Cowboys and what is wrong with the league in general.
Seeing Jerry and Stephen sitting in on coaches meetings should disgust any fan with an ounce of credibility. I knew they did it but seeing it was just vulgar. It's not hard to figure out why the Cowboys aren't the Cowboys anymore.
After the finale against the Eagles, Garrett and Peterson meet at midfield. Peterson tells Garrett "I'm going to be calling you next week to pick your brain a little". Garrett says okay and says something like "go get them".
Now what the flying bleep is going on when rival teams interact this way? A handshake after the game should be good enough. I can't even wrap my brain around the idea why you would ever help each other.
Rivalries are dead in sports. Free agency is why. Teams change too much year to year and players and even coaches see themselves as a fraternity of brothers. It doesn't matter that they aren't on the same roster now. They might be next year. Only fans really care about rivalries anymore. Execs, coaches, players, they'll give it lip service but they dont really have any emotional stock invested in a rivalry and that's a damn shame.
From Harvey Martin leaving a wreath in the Commanders locker room to our head coach encouragingly patting the enemy coach on the back and letting him know he's on call if they need him. Good luck winning a Championship. We're rooting for you.
Are you bleeping kidding me?!
It's just sad.
