You should open your mind. He's a very smart guy. And his comments had nothing to do with the Cowboys. Don't be so sensitive.
He made all the same comments last season after they drafted 2 defensive players from Georgia and neither of them did jack squat.

Now they want to add 2 more and act like they are suddenly the 85 Bears.

What we will find out is the entire collective unit of Georgia defense makes each individual part look that much better on the college level.
Get to the NFL level and everyone is very talented.

I'll worry about the drafted players on the Eagles when they actually show something on the NFL field.

You obviously didn't watch Davis in the first half of the season when he was healthy.

The guy had a total of 18 tackles on the season. No QB pressures and only 10 solo tackles.
He goes out and the guy who replaces him makes the ProBowl.

For where he was drafted he was invisible. And now he was so awesome they just drafted a DT to keep him on the bench again because Cox isnt getting benched.

Who is this replacement who made the Pro Bowl?

All three of the guys that we drafted are nice additions but none of them change our team.

The eagles and giants, drafted attacking football players - two of our three guys were drafted to stop their already potent quarterbacks and speed in the backfield.

We have not drafted anybody that’s going to change the game that’s going to drive play that’s going to make their defense worry about.

Our draft is based on our opponents assets. We’re worried about them, but they’re not worried about us. That’s a Losing formula in any sport it doesn’t matter.

Brandin Cooks isn’t changing anything.

We are still a slow plodding offense- with very little running back depth very little offensive line, depth, and very little quality at receiver.

And I hate to say it, but the Giants killed this draft already incredible;

We are quickly behind the 8 ball as the Eagles are clearly better and the NYG even .

We whiffed in Free Agency again and did not close any gaps on Philly .

The picks: John Michael Schmitz, C, Minnesota (No. 57); Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee (No. 73)

The Giants landed my top-ranked center in Schmitz late in Round 2. That's a steal. He fills an immediate need. I was surprised he lasted that long.

They followed that by trading up 16 spots to snag Hyatt, giving up No. 128 in the process. Hyatt is a speedster who can be a deep threat out of the slot, though he needs to refine his route running. He's my fifth-ranked wideout, and I thought he could have snuck into the first round for the right team. What a draft the Giants are having. I also really liked cornerback Deonte Banks on Thursday. They have come out of the first two days with three of my top 45 prospects.
"All three of the guys that we drafted are nice additions but none of them change our team."

We drafted a position of need. I am hyper critical of our team due to me being so Jaded for a title ... but this draft we took a position of need that we never value. We did ok.

we cant know anything definite yet. Thats why I cant understand the agenda when a team reporter poo poo's an UDFA or draft pick all before they have mini camp. Lets be positive.

I’ll be utterly shocked if he’s better than Hankins, ever.
Hankins has never lived up to the potential some thought he had. Mazi Smith is much more athletic than Hankins ever was, is almost as big and should easily surpass what Hankins can do at this point in his career

No...he really doesn't. Got owned vs. TCU. You guys are gonna be disappointed in this guy. Love to be wrong but there's a reason he lasted as long as he did.
Question, can you find tape on any other college player getting owned? I bet you can, and it wouldn't change your mind. It would only lend to making excuses.

I'll bite.

Eagles added a troubled player who also showed up out of shape and his coaches had bad things to say about him. Followed by picking a smaller player without a true position or production and a corner who was toasted often.

Giants picked a nice center, a 1 trick pony wr
I believe two of the 3 have character

There’s no speed folks - speed kills in every sport .

We have a skinny RB who we’re not sure can carry 20+ times .

The TE from Utah is who we needed .

We also needed an aggressive free agency haul and that didn’t happen.

Add to the NYG added ashaun Robinson which nullifies roookie maz smith .
This defense has plenty of speed, the offense has enough.
Excessive speed on offense is a waste of time, Dak has enough downfield speed to utilize it when needed, his game will be short and big with a lot of potential YAC/TOP scheme plays from MM..

That’s what I’m saying.

We’re having a nice draft for nuts and bolts type players but none of these guys are changing a dang thing around here.
Who are the difference makers we should have drafted?

Mazi changes the team the minutes he steps on the field. Best run stopping DT the Cowboys have had in years.

Schoonmaker makes the run blocking better (remember they want to run more) plus is a good receiver.
Sure Mazi can make our run defense better. But our lb and safeties gotta tackle better too. Overall our tackling was atrocious.

Man I hope so. It will require him to be much more productive than he was in college, hopefully similar path as Poe

They dont - they plug a hole.

We didn’t draft a weapon
There weren't more than 10 weapons in the draft. Most teams in the league are just using this draft to plug holes - Philly probably more than anyone.
