We are at the point where you can refer to it as an outright shame

That's not what Troy said.
Maybe not verbatim, but everyone knows what he’s insinuating. The Dallas Cowboys franchise has fallen from grace among those who make their living in the NFL.

Cowboys fans won’t stop loving their favorite team. That’s not how being a fan works in our culture. If it’s your job, though, you’ll seek the best circumstances. That’s also part of our culture.

Some are still under the impression that Jerry really wants to win when he made it blatantly obvious a long, long time ago that that isn't the case. This coaching search is how this team operates. They aren't looking for a coach to win football games, but a patsy who will take pennies on the dollar to have Jerry and Stephen put him on a leash.
Or...

The idiot, who once said '500 coaches could win with a team he built' (not an exact quote) believes he can win with whomever he picks. To misquote Kendrick Lamar, "He does not think like us."

I can see McCarthy taking a stand but he did so after not getting extended before and during the season. He abandoned ship to Jones' nonsense long after he got fed up with it.

Not sure I would use Parsons as a protest poster child. He seems to lean wherever the wind blows him.
i agree on Micah but to me its the only way change MIGHT come is players turning away from this FO because its a joke.

You don't know anything. Absolutely nothing.
How can you continue to defend Jerry after 30 years of incompetence when he has all the resources an NFL team could ask for are at his disposal and these are the results? How? I get it, it's hard to accept that things really are as bad as they are (I've had the same trouble swallowing that pill), but the entire rest of the league never even interviewing Schottenheimer for HC after all his years in the league should tell you something. McCarthy walking away from this "prestigious" job when he's not 100% sure he can even get another job should tell you something. They haven't found some diamond in the rough no one else has caught on to, they've found the cheapest "Yes man" possible.

There may be some degree of a mass fan revolt but it is extremely likely it will neither meet the expectations of those wanting a huge fallout nor cause Jerry Jones any real concern. People have hoped for a mass fan revolt instead of organizing a realistic one, so it will never happen.
and all that will happen is that road fans will buy our tickets and fans here will complain that Jones let the opponents take over the stadium,

I know more than you.

You thought they were going to make a trade for a RB, you thought they would draft a RB, you thought they would use FA.

I was right on all counts.

Lets not even get started on the record prediction.
I actually thought they would sign Henry. That's it. I know that you don't know anything about coaching.

The culture has sapped the four-quarters-a-game grit out of this team practically for several decades straight. The players may as well play wholeheartedly sloppy in defiance of the front office. Doing so would not be a drastic change from what some games look like when they are trying to win.

I didn't defend Jerry. I called out a guy that knows nothing.

ok Rambo the question is what do you think Jerry knows and applies to how he picks his coaches so far? It really doesnt matter what posters on this forum know to be honest because you dont need a degree in 'NFL Coaching" to know Jerry hasn't done a good job...Are you defending Jerry or just going at posters becaue after 30 years of incompetence they dont have faith in this GM?

That quote was while the team was a dynasty. Pretty easy to say when they just won 2 Super Bowls. His job over the past 30 on the other hand has been utter crap which puts his ridiculous Jerry-logic completely out of touch with reality.

Jerry is 82 and he is at the end of the road.

I've argued with Moutaineer plenty about many of his takes, but he is spot on about this. And unfortunately, several other things too. The glass half empty takes unfortunately turn out to be the correct takes with this franchise more often than not, especially lately.
