Quinn has arguably shown he is a better HC then he was as a coordinator.
Maybe Jethro thinks Schotie would do the same thing; be a much better HC then a OC.

I realize that. It's a balancing act. You have to assess who you want, who wants the job, and how long they will be available. All of these i have little faith Jerry can do adequately.

The only way to hurt Jerry is by having half full stadium and because of the way the seat licensing works it’s going to be filled by someone andthe money pours in. Jerry would be the HC if the NFL allowed it but it’s not a option anymore

I was scrolling through some sports channels after THE.... OSU win

And stopped on one of the shows that had Schefter on a segment. They said Dallas operates in universe different from every other NFL team. They said hardly ANY of their HC candidates are anyone else's (candidate). Other teams are signing their candidates pretty quick and Dallas just sits there.


I don't usually watch talking heads...but they were spot on here. The media seems to be coming down a bit harder on Jerry these days. And Jerry? Still could not care any less.

Kinda funny to hear about fan revolts, I see Cleveland, Jacksonville, and many other teams doing nothing for years and the stadiums are filled. It’s entertaining to watch but fans have zero control of what ownership does or what happens on the field. Just enjoy the games

All true, but it doesn't make sense to blame him for not being able to make these assessments or for not being quick and decisive with candidates he hasn't even been allowed to talk to.
