It worked for Eli to Plaxico and Cruz and Flacco to Boldin. Give it a shot. Nothing to lose.

Also, why the hype around the Eagles? For a team supposedly so great, they are in the same boat we are and let a team with their backup QB and no AP or Gerhart score 48 on them. People get so caught up into what the media is saying and the flavor of the week. They aren't bad but they aren't anywhere near the top of the NFC.

The Bears came out so flat against a fired up eagles team.

Cutler was bad the first half. The decision to let cutler start when McCown was tearing it up was a poor one in my opinion.

The eagles were able to score quickly and the bears gave them a short field due to turnovers and going 3 and out. The bears went away from the run and were pass happy from the start but Cutler was off.

It was 21-0 real fast and things went downhill from there.

I don't understand what team some of you have watched all year. This team against ok to good teams is horrible. Philly is a good team, see the picture?

I was one the "I believe" bandwagon a few years ago, but so many disappointing loses have changed me.

That being said, I hope I am wrong. I want Garret to be fired, but I never wish for the Cowboys to lose. And if Garret can actually pull this off, maybe he is not as bad as we all think.

What he said. I want JG gone, but if Romo doesn't play and we are forced to play Orton, this is a chance for JG to pull a rabbit out of his hat. If he doesn't, send him packing. His lack of game management skills has been enough for me.

I have no doubt that with Orton at QB, we can beat the Beagles. My bigger concern is can our Def do anything to stop the Eagles?

Here's my tempered optimism: if the defense can hold the Eagles under 20 pts, then I think even an Orton-led offense can win the game -- IF Garrett (or whoever) does not get pass-happy and takes steps -- like draws and screens -- to slow down the Eagles front. Play smart, get turnovers, grind the defense down with big bodies.

If the Eagles lose, there won't be a hole big enough to crawl into. And Chip will definitely jump back to college.

Eagles looked unstoppable the other night. Their defense looked solid too. With or without Romo I think this game could get ugly quick.

Fifteen-plus years adrift on a rudderless ship - and STILL the whispers of the crew haven't reached a crescendo.

Jerry walks the gangplank or I'm done 'til he does. Just sayin'. It's the freakin' GM.

The problem will not be Orton, it will be our poor coverage and lack of pass rush... Actually, Orton will probably be more decisive than Romo because he will probably stick to his first or second reads (this usually happens with backups who havent played much in a while). I think he'll force the ball to Dez, which will be a good thing...

What were you watching?

KC - 1 pt game
St. Louis - 24 pt domination.
SD - 9 pt game (but they had a lead in the 4th quarter and if not for a fumble on the 2 are probably within 2 with a chance to get the ball back at the end)
Denver - 3 pt game
Detroit - 1 pt game
Philly (you know, the team apparently have no chance against) - 14 pt win (should have been even more)
GB - 1 pt game (epic collapse)

I will give you New Orleans and Chicago.

Kyle is going to play very well.

it's not like we are throwing an undrafted rookie out there.

he will be our beuerlein from 1991.

wait and see him throw to dez sunday.

kyle is not neutered like what they forced on romo.

Keep preaching the truth of Big Game Orton, brother.

Different QB. Same offense=Neutered. Its not that they neutered romo, the offense doesnt allow him to be him. Thats good ol JG for ya. The genius

they neutered the hell out of romo this season.

his biggest plays are always when he rolls out...

they tried to keep him in the pocket this year..kyle is not going to play like that.
