I never said that. I said you can’t rely on defense because of the rules.

I mean, you can point out the effect D's have had on recent super bowl runs, but the O guys still claim it doesn't matter. Philly's D was a major reason they were even in the super bowl last year. They squushed everyone in the playoffs until they got to the KC juggernaut.

You said the rule changes "make the game offensive."

But despite those rule changes working against them, the 49ers #1 defense held teams to a measly 16.3 PPG last season.
