thats my point you can't afford to do that in the playoffs. Gotta play a full 4 quarters of great football. Jitters got him.
He didn't have jitters early.
Stop.

Don't get me wrong...Dak played an awesome game yesterday, good enough to win. I loved the attitude & determination he showed on that 2 pt play. I loved how composed he was the entire game. I loved that 4 play 75 yard drive in the 2nd quarter to bring life back into the team. I loved the strikes he was throwing in the 4th quarter. He still didn't carry the team though. That Aaron Rogers guy, now he carried that team on his back. Aaron Rogers overcame 3rd & 20 with seconds on the clock. Dak got a ball batted down on 3rd & 2 on the final drive. Dak Prescott is one piece of an awesome puzzle that is the Dallas Cowboys offense. Hes not close to an elite QB at this point though. In my opinion he has all the mental traits of an elite QB, but lacks some physical traits to become that QB. I think he is the real deal, I just don't know how high his ceiling is. Despite similarities on the stat sheet, there was a major difference between what Dak did and what Rogers did yesterday.I think we weren't watching the same game yesterday. The game I saw, this Dak guy clearly put the team on his back, after the rest of the team joined him on the field in the 2nd quarter, and gave them the opportunity to win the damn game. And they would have if it wasn't for the clueless coaching staff. Their job is to put the team in a position to win and they clearly failed. If Red calls a running play on 2nd and 3, or calls for a fade for #88, we're all talking about how this Dak guy carried his team to a victory that they had no business doing so after that 1st quarter. Now THAT'S the game that I was watching.

That very last drive though is where the great ones go for the kill. Maybe he has it in him. He didn't yesterday yet. From NFL.com:
"Dak Prescott hit 13 of 17 throws for 142 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion in his final three possessions."

As far as his future success goes I very well could be wrong, and would be very happy if i was.No rookie QB has advanced his team to the Super Bowl. That includes ever single elite QB that's ever played or you could name.
Your conclusion based off of Dak's rookie season is premature.
I thought he looked jittery on that pass to Williams that was nullified due to the penalty. But that pass that bounced off Williams chest proved it to me. NOT! I have to agree with tm1119. It sounds like you are pushing your own agenda. You can't start slow in the playoffs . It was obvious Dak had the jitters.
For those of us that aren't sold on Dak Prescott. It's a good insurance. He could be another RG3 or kapernick. I need to see a QB play for 3 seasons before I'm sold. I see a lot of people saying "we have our QB for the next decade". How can you be so sure? We better draft another QB just in case. Even if it does work out with Dak we'll need a backup.
No Hablo espanolThat very last drive though is where the great ones go for the kill. Maybe he has it in him. He didn't yesterday yet.
