I totally agree! While we have to appreciate Cooper Rush hanging around he’s not in any way the future of QB play for the cowboys! We gave up draft picks for him so bench Dak no matter if he’s hurt or not and see what the kids got!

That's doubtful lol. The Commanders second string team would give our starters fits. And their 2nd QB is Marcus Mariota who helped the Commanders beat the Panthers 40-7 after Jayden Daniels was injured in the 1st quarter.

The Commanders offensive system is very QB friendly.

No chance. I’d love to see Lance get a few starts, I think it would be fun to watch but Lance is 99% gone. The cowboys simply can’t contribute much more to the QB position and have $100m+ against the cap at the position.

Dak is here for at least another couple years. If Lance shows anything in a regular season game he’s going to go somewhere he can actually compete for playing time.

If he can’t compete for playing time at quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys where can he compete for it?
