We can totally upgrade the RB position

N
I would franchise Pollard and draft a quality back. Pollard is that much of a dynamic weapon you have to take the small risk. If his injury proves to be a prolonged issue then you’re only on the hook for one season.

What I don’t want to see is the team lean heavily on Malik Davis or Rico Dowdle.
in no way do you ever tag a running back.

I’m with you about Shultz but not Pollard. He’s not worth a 10 million franchise tag - especially coming off an injury. And his body is not likely to hold up anyways for long. Like I said, contenders do not waste millions on the running back position like we always do.
Pollard was looking like Adrian Peterson at times during the season.

You keep him. But you don't keep Zeke. It's kinda either or here, and TP has way more upside.

Malik Davis is a start. Give the kid more totes.

We've had good RBs on the roster. But they've left. Qadree Ollison was a good back. So was Aaron Shampklin. Ollison went to Tampa Bay, Shamp went to the Colts.

all because they wanted 2 feed Zeke. Craziness when it was obvious 2 all of us that he was done. His legs are gone. Must get younger there. Malik has juice but we can add 2 the rb room.

I think if the Ravens don’t get him there, we will jump all over him at 26.
The problem with drafting an RB with the first pick with this FO is they have a philosophy and it envolves PAYING thier early draft picks... its like throwing stones at the FO for the Zeke situation that have a note written on them to recreate the Zeke situation...

I wouldn't. Indeed seeing g us sign Miles Sanders.

ProBowl RB, doesn't try to make it all about him by staring at the camerea and pretending to eat Spaghettios with a spoon every time he gains over 3 yards on a run,... and prob has 3 good years left.

Plus, if you sign enuff guys that are used to winning and working hard...it can help change ur culture.

The RB position should not demand high draft capital, nor does it demand a high salary cap allocation.

The Cowboys have grossly over-allocated resources to the position- at the expense of other more important positions on the team. They must break out of this way of thinking.
This x 1000, serviceable RBs don't have to cost you an early draft pick and upgrading the OL and defense is more important right now anyways...

I let Pollard walk Either pay cut or cut for Zeke. Draft a 3rd round running back and a late round big back if Zeke leaves. We don't need to pay either Zeke or Pollard big money.

I would trade or cut Zeke. I would trade or let Pollard walk. I would draft two RBs.

money aside, I do feel that this is a position of need. I’m a Zeke guy but it is crystal clear he is at the tail end of his career. Then you throw in Pollards injury. I think by franchising Pollard and drafting a young buck in the first couple of rounds, we’ve already upgraded the position
Keep replenishing the running back position is the only way to go

Yeah, I think your Eagles will re-sign Miles but what does that have to do with the Cowboys?

you know all the rumors on FA and trades, the cowboys are intrigued by them all and very interested lmao its clickbait LOL Barkley is the recent one., neither will be here over Pollard, its full rebuild at RB or Pollards back under the FT and we start the infusion of young RBs through the draft along with Malik.
