He is not a 3-4 DE, the dude is currently like 275. He'd be playing in Ellis's spot and the staff would have probably had him slimmed down a bit (if he were here).

I think pressure on the QB is the #1 stat for winning football. The team that wins the line of scrimmage usually wins the game. We need to add at least 1 more player that can rush the passer. And I don't think you have to spend a first rder to do that. They're out there we just need to do our homework.
