Tuck would be a OLB in a 3-4 Defense and is a DE in a 4-3 Defense.

Yep, the Giants were more excited about Kiwanuka than Tuck to start the year.

That's probably the reason they won the Super Bowl... well that and losing Shockey.

Without Kiwanuka, they were forced to put someone in at LB who could actually cover TEs. And without Shockey, Eli had one less voice talking in that huddle.

Except that they replaced him with Reggie Torbor, who is another 255 lbs. former college defensive end who can't cover. He's exactly like Kiwanuka, except nowhere near as athletic or good.

The drafting of LaFleur isn't the reason we only won 3 super bowls in the 90's.
