We could have had Justin Tuck

Think of all the teams that say 'we could have had MB3' before we got him in the 4th.

If we had kept our 3rd round pick in 2005. However, we traded it for Drew Henson.

Dude is sick and would be perfect for a 3-4 DE.

Tuck would be a OLB in a 3-4 Defense and is a DE in a 4-3 Defense.

We could have had Justin Tuck, and Tom Brady, and Randy Moss. If only we could know the future!

I can only imagine it.
Therein lies our problem. If you had omniscience we'd be set forever. I blame you for not being omnicient.

Wow. Just wow. Gotta love these topics. I'd hate to live my whole time going with "we could have had".

and all those teams saying they could have had romo...

some people just can't let things go.

yeah that turned out badly, but we also could have had Moss, steven jackson, cromartie and dwayne bowe.

We also could have picked Tom Brady. Along with 31 other teams that passed on him at least 5 times!!!!!!

Trust me. I blame myself.

We could have had Colston, along with 30 other teams, SEVERAL TIMES! DANG US!! DANG US ALL!!!

another one of these threads......

Never understood why people do this.

Yep, the Giants were more excited about Kiwanuka than Tuck to start the year.
That's probably the reason they won the Super Bowl... well that and losing Shockey.

Without Kiwanuka, they were forced to put someone in at LB who could actually cover TEs. And without Shockey, Eli had one less voice talking in that huddle.

And Tony Romo. All they had to do was use a measly 7th rounder... he could have been mr. irrelevant.

well what could have been if we drafted tony gonzales instead of david lafleur.... we might of had 5 SB's in the 90's

Gonzo was gone before we had a chance to pick.

Except that they replaced him with Reggie Torbor, who is another 255 lbs. former college defensive end who can't cover. He's exactly like Kiwanuka, except nowhere near as athletic or good.

The drafting of LaFleur isn't the reason we only won 3 super bowls in the 90's.

It really doesn't matter... The Giants drafted better and got better defenders and a better QB.

I know, Romo had better stats, but Eli won the big one. You can all talk a good game, but our team can't play one when it matters.

Hey look, it's a giants fan! Wierd.

Oh for the love of God. I'm so glad Eli won this Superbowl, and did so great in the playoffs, after a whole year and a half of being the starting QB.

Oh, wait a minute, what do you mean he didn't do this in his first year and a half? Are you kidding me?

Can you imagine us if we had Tuck instead of Henson and Cromartie instead of Carpenter?

And Moss instead of Greg Ellis?

Championship!

(Personally, I blame Isaiah Stanback. If he ran faster than a 4.58 40, we might actually contend for a playoff victory now and again)

(Oh, I totally see what I did there)
