They had Micah as well, and started playing him at MLB on run downs in this game.

Linebackers are a need but LBs are only as good as who is playing DLine so they don’t have to take on the blockers.

Better DLine in the run game = better linebacker play.

That is Jaylon, LVE and Clark who they have gotten burned on recently by taking hurt players in the draft.

The front office is not looking for blue chip players, they are looking for flashy players. That's why they constantly reach in the draft for players that are injured thinking they are getting a premium pick at a discount.

The only injured player drafted that ever workout for Dallas was Sean Lee and he missed almost half of the games.

I mean, the refs have made him less effective by not calling holding calls. Maybe they would call holding if he was off ball blitzing.

Yeah at this point if this is what we are going to get move him back to linebacker. The edge of him rushing the passer isn't there if they are going to allow him to be held.

LB is a major off-season priority.

Problem is outside of Patrick Queen or Devin White, I don't see a lot of quality in free agency. And we all know the Cowboys are scared poopless of premium free agents.

The draft doesn't look great either. Payton Wilson (NC State) is older (turns 24 just before the draft) and has had some injuries (two knees and a shoulder), but he reminds me of Fred Warner. I really like Ty'Ron Hopper from Missouri but he's under 225 lbs.
