We Have Won Only 6 Games With Less Than 100 Yards Rushing With Dak As Starting QB Since 2016

I already did. And just based on last season alone 85-90 percent of the time a team had a 100 yards of rushing that team won.

That is why I mention you got to throw on 1st down from time to time. If Defense know every 1st down you will run the ball you start finding yourself in long situation. People love to say they knew what we were doing? lol if all you do is run on 1st down how is that any different. Teams stack line on 1st drop in to nickle coverage or bring pressure on 3rd down. Those quick throws to Lamb that so many complain about, if they are picking up 3 or 4 yards leaving you 2nd and 6 that is a good play keeping you in a situation where defense does not know if pass or run is coming.

Yup. Gotta have a balanced attack and take what the D gives you sometimes. Not hanging on to the ball too long helps, especially against better Dines.

Justin Herbert already has led his team to more wins having less than 100 rushing yards of support than Dak.

So has....

Mahomes, Josh Allen (Josh Allen lead his team to 7 wins in 2020 alone without 100 yards of rushing support), Joe Burrow (Did it 6 times last year and already once this season), Matt Stafford did it 3 straight games in a row in the playoffs from the divisional round to the Super Bowl.

Those are just a few that I decided to look up.

When you have an actual great QB you don't have to rely on your run game. It's a problem for the Cowboys right now.

But, according to PFR Week 11 of 2019 against the 3-6-1 Detroit Lions is the last time we won a game with less than 100 rushing yards with Dak at QB.

Andy Dalton lead us to victory in Week 15 of 2020 with under 100 yards of rushing support.

Cooper Rush lead us to victory in his lone start against the Vikings in 2021 without 100 rushing yards of support.

When/If Dak comes back it is absolutely necessary that we continue to keep the rush game going and balanced if we want to win games and be successful more consistently. We cannot give up on the run quickly and we must limit the ability for Dak to audible out of plays so much if we want to have success. There NEEDS to be a balance and that needs to come from both the play calling and Dak sticking to the runs instead of audibling out of them as he has been known to do.

The 0-6 with Dak last year stands out like a sore thumb.

Ya it was clearly Dak's fault vs Tampa.

It was also his fault losing in OT vs the Raiders. I know...he shouldn't have 3 and outed in OT.


He should have got the ball back vs AZ too....Dak's fault that we let the Cards run out the last 4 minutes.


I mean, it is a cute stat. It really is. A team that prides itself on being a running team, when they are stopped, we are not as good. Who would have figured?

Some of those games are on Dak, but a lot of them have a lot of other reasons for the L's. It isn't like in 2020 because we beat the damn lions we were good when we didn't run the ball...lol.

Your offense is not performing well when you average less than 100 yards for an entire game. That would be bottom third in the league. For reference, only 9 teams last year averaged less than 100 yards rushing per game.

No team aside from one's with Tom Brady routinely win with less than 100 yards. He's always used a short passing game instead of running.

This is not about Dak. It is this way for everyone.

What's embarrassing is yet again you are using this statistic that you got absolutely obliterated for using in the past again.

You named 4 QBs that are younger? 3 of the 4 have top ten defenses.

3 quarters of the league lose games when the team doesn't rush for over 100. 93 percent of teams win games when they rush for 100 yards.

And i bet you there are worse QB statistics than Dak for teams that don't rush for 100.

There's nothing wrong with seeing that Dak needs more help than others. The problem arise when you guys want to put him on the same level as the actual great QBs in the league.
