You've actually been to that trash heap? Dude, I've lost all respect for you. What red blooded Cowboys fan does that? LOL Kidding of course.

I never had any respect for you.

Lol. I go to the board of the team were playing next. Just like to see what they're saying.

I started as a Dallas Cowboys fan, when Murchison arrived at the Cowboy name. But then, unlike today, fans rooted for the team to succeed, and did so for years...until the team 'quit' losing in the playoffs and started to win. No excuses or disappointment handles were needed by us fans. We loved our Cowboys and just took the licks along with the team...but we believed.
Landry lost 3 times in a row in playoffs, twice to GB, then lost to balt in SB, and some were saying he couldnt win the big games.
Then the next year they won the SB which ended that.

Thing is though they were in playoffs 5 times in a row before winning the SB.
And back then no WC round, just 2 playoff rounds, 1 being the championship, then the SB.
They then went on to playoffs for another 15years in a row, 20 total?
They only won 2 SB's out of those 20 times in the playoffs.

Jimmy won 2 SB's in what 3 playoffs? and had he stayed, would have won 4 in a row.
Such a short time and he wins 2 in a row, no SB losses , that what made him so well liked.

Oh, that is the message given...

no, Murchison had to give HIM, Landry, a vote of confidence after five seasons. What that falls under modern math that ignores the real facts. NO, the fans stuck with a rough start and the team proved it out...but then, with a free hand on finances and an owner WHO'S DAD WAS ONE OF THE RICHEST BUSINESS MEN IN AMERICA.

Now, Jimmy received a ton of high draft picks that completely padded his roster development...

NOW, what are the differences in today's roster developments? Any harder to sustain a top shelf team...TODAY?

No, this Cowboys team IS building the right way, and even trying to add quick fixes...but HAS reached two 12 win seasons in the past three seasons. And by the way, Jerry has fielded a winning team for ELEVEN of his 21 seasons.

So lay off this team hasn't done **** stuff...and really start to root for the Dallas Cowboys. When it gets down to what is really on the table...they owe YOU zilch. But they do give it all to succeed, but if you are restricted in really rooting for them due to selective points, well, find another team and quit going out of YOUR way to talk CRAP to us fans who aren't insulted by genuine play on the field...!

I dont see where I was talking crap, I didnt say anything bad at all ! lol
Any harder to sustain a top shelf team...TODAY? ......sure it is, I didnt even comment on that.
Now, Jimmy received a ton of high draft picks that completely padded his roster development........jimmy was always trying to get more picks
and he did good with that and trades, and he made a lot of good picks.
But I am not comparing today to jimmys time, things are different now, and the only thing is he knew what he was doing and did it
in a short period.

Learn actual logic...as the ground rules for setting up, and the ability to forge individually is no longer in the environment of the NFL. Today, it has to be both earned and achieved through tough management and a longer termed route to arrive...

NO, not what Jimmy, your dog in the 'fight,' had to do for achievement. He coached, but Jerry Jones got him the picks and players. Different NFL, even then...as the playing field as been greatly leveled from the time of Tom Landry, and even that for Jimma', your boy.

It is not uncommon for fan bases to feel like their favorite team just doesn’t get any respect. That is certainly true for those of us who follow the Dallas Cowboys. Most of the time, you really just have to write it off as a bit of homerism and the natural defensiveness that comes when you see the team you are so invested in getting criticized.

But over the past few weeks, some things have shown up out there in the interwebs that certainly make it seem that the Cowboys are getting absolutely disrespected. It just isn’t the lack of regard exhibited. It is how recent accomplishments - as in from last season - are completely dismissed.

If it was just one or two isolated things, that would be one thing. But there is a pattern here that all seems to come back to one conclusion: A lot of people think last year was purely a fluke for the Cowboys, and will basically be nearly impossible for them to duplicate.

The most recent bit of evidence is also the most egregious: Pete Prisco’s ranking of all 32 NFL head coaches for CBS Sports. He ranked Jason Garrett at 17th in the league, with this write up.

Actually 17th place in being very generous to Coach Clapper, so I don't see any disrespect at all here.

Two 12 win seasons in three seasons...and the sandwich season was without a valid quarterback and the team's top receiver...yea, that really sucks.

Coaches and teams are judged by what they do in the postseason, not the regular season, that is why division championship banners are not hung from the rafters.......its like that in most sports leagues, not just the NFL.

That is why Hoodie is considered the greatest head coach of all time and guys like Marvin Lewis and Jason Garrett are in the bottom half of the league.

Both of these guys field teams that always have good regular season records, but are one-and-done almost every time they make the playoffs. If they want to be mentioned in the same breathe as coaches like Hoodie, they have to win not only playoff games, but championships.

That is just how it is in professional sports.

They have the right. Look at the past 20+ years. We have done nothing. No consistent winning, in regular season or playoffs. We have to prove that last year wasn't a fluke. We dont have to have the same record but we have to take the next step and start winning in the playoffs.
