We just moved into our new house!

That is the down side to home ownership, but now that I have a Home warranty policy, it definitely takes away some of the stress.

That said, if I can help it, I'll never go back to an apt. I hated being that close to people and hearing all their life goings on.

I know what you mean about the neighbors. I'd like home ownership more if the place wasn't falling apart and decreased in value after we bought it.

I could see how that might be an issue. Just so happens, I moved into a growing neighborhood. Five new subdivisions have been built since I moved in and there are two and three more being built along w/new schools and everything.

Although, I've had to put money into it for upgrading some of the normal wear and tear for age, the house has held up fairly well.
