We May Dodge Brady's Bucs (and get something worse)

Carolina announced this pm that starting CB Jacee Horn had surgery for a broken wrist today. and signed CB Josh Norman a few hours ago.
Their game with the Bucs Sunday will be very interesting.

We've all expected Tampa Bay to win the NFC South. For the whole year that's been the assumption. This would, based on seeding rules, place Dallas in Tampa Bay for round 1.

But wait. If the Carolina Panthers beat the Bucs this Sunday, and win out against the Saints in their last game...we will start the playoffs with a game in Carolina.

No problem, right? I mighta thought so until Carolina crushed Detroit Sunday, with 320 rushing yards at 7.4 yards per clip.

Panthers also ran for 223 yards earlier this month versus Seattle. ( Before we all completely freak out, it should also be pointed out that on Dec 18 versus Pittsburgh those same Panthers were kittens, 16 carries for 21 yards. )

My opinion: we gonna beat either Bucs or Panthers. Just might not be easy.

Any playoff game gonna be tough, especially on the road.
We had our destiny in our own hands and spit the bit twice against GB and JAX.

If we lose to them we don't need to advance. There is no easy route to the NFCC. Any team is liable to beat us. If anything SF is look pretty darn good.

They're 11-4. Just beat the best team in football. Have wins over a bunch of playoff teams. They can trade scores with any offense in the NFL. How are they not contenders ? There isn't a perfect team out there. Besides your childish superstitions and negativity, what else says they can't win a SB.? They're as good as anyone.

Don't know, TB has been playing awful the last couple of games and if you consider Brady with multiple INTs... either way, Carolina or TB, I say Cowboys will win 1 playoff game this season.

Running game is mostly about blocking. Christian isn't a difference-maker as a runner at this point. Good receiving back though.

As I’ve said— I’d much rather see Darnold than Brady.

Playoff Lenny would come out of the woodworks for 130 yards rushing against us. Brady would be surgical. Give me Sam and a tame, inexperience Carolina team.

I don't think that matters much with our defense lol. I expect any QB will have the ability to torch our defense.

honestly as silly as it sounds, the way they stomped the lions is what made me finally pay attention to carolina. the lions have been a pretty interesting team the past couple of months.
