Not saying you do it all game.....then we'll be two scores down and pass-happy Air Coryell Jr with say "TPollard Who?, Zeke what?"
There's always "we need to punt".Week after week we as fans say WE MUST RUN THE BALL! But what if the our starting running back, can only get 2 yards per carry, are we supposed to force it? I know we can't pass all game long, there has to be balance. If something isn't working that well, it's up to our coordinator/head coach to say "let's change things up!" Why keep doing the same things, expecting different results. Sometimes the opposing D-line is stout. It seems that when this happens, we continue to run where the meat of the defense is. It's like we're scared to run outside, or come at that defense in a different manner to make them think at least.
It just bothers me hearing "we must run the ball", what if what if there's no success. I don't think we often look at things the other way, we just say "let's run let's run!" Please give your thoughts

yes in other words can we mix things up so we dont look so obvious?Dak should be open to take off and gain some positive yards when the WRs covered, that will for make the Tamps D to hesitate a little and thats when you make use of the situation and throw some bombs - use turpin as a decoy on go routes so that they cant crowd the LOS and use some delayed draw runs or screens - things to get our best YAC - Pollard, Lamb and Fergusson ball in space and do their thing
cant disagreeWait broke the wagon coogie
We can't wait we got to run the ball but Dak absolutely has to be part of the running game.
He cannot stand back there hold the ball being greedy waiting for the big play it will end in disaster.
If there's clean real estate in front of him he needs to take off and get some yards get down safely and move the chains.
Dak needs to understand his job is not to be Peyton Manning or Tom Brady his job is to move the chains.
Force them to spy him commit personnel it will open things up for the passing game.
Dak forcing passes is going to end up in turnovers and holding penalties which cannot be tolerated especially in the playoffs.
agree...he was the one player most excited to get back along with Hankins...badass did not allow one sack whole time he was in....and Hankins even though may not be in prime still does not get moved but moves others even doubled or tripled teamed.....i know Brady works on quick release to mitigate pass rush...but if we can cover and come at him strong and get him off his mark....i really like our chances.....can we not send Brady home most likely final game as a Loser to Cowboys?......Tom was it worth losing your marriage to play one more year...lets put an exclamation point on that....NO it was NOT......already nervous about gameFor me it's more like we need to be able to run the ball. Dak throwing 40+ times is not the best formula for the Cowboys.
Getting Biadasz back should help. The oline configuration without him wasn't good.
Coogiguy03.....my thoughts to help you out. It's rather simple. OL play is certainly paramount, including TEs executing a decent block, a time or two. (Philbin's group isn't getting the job done).Week after week we as fans say WE MUST RUN THE BALL! Drive killer.....Nope......that would be KMoore.....why are you afraid to admit it?Keep the ball away from Zeke. Drive killer.
Ok.....but take notice of DL in the backfield on runs, and then take notice of DL in the backfield on passes. That will tell you something immediately.....OL being whipped again. Not saying you do it all game.
Just come out with some high-percentage pass plays and play-action passes early on to loosen up the defense.
We're easier to stop when we run, run, pass... Too predictable.
Obviously Dak missed games....Is this correct? 2022, Rogers throwing the ball 148 times more than Dak. Brady throwing 339 more.
They both currently are not good at their jobs. Zeke is due to injuries and wear/tear. Kellen is what he is.Drive killer.....Nope......that would be KMoore.....why are you afraid to admit it?
The good news is we have a power/blocking back AND a fast one who can be another receiving threatWeek after week we as fans say WE MUST RUN THE BALL!
